DGFT Extends Time Limit for Export of Red Sanders Wood by Forest Department

DGFT Extends Time Limit for Export of Red Sanders Wood by Forest Department

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade(DGFT) has extended time limit for Export of Red Sanders Wood by Forest Environment & Climate Change Department of Odisha.

The Notification Stated, “In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the foreign Trade (I)evelopment & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended read with para 1.02 and Para 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 20 15-20, the Central Government hereby makes amendment in Notification No. 35/2015-20 dated 07.10.2021.”

The Forest Environment & Climate Change Department, Government of Odisha shall finalize the modalities for export of the Red Sanders Heart Wood in log form and shall complete the whole process of export latest by 6th October, 2023.

Other provisions of Notification No. 35/2015-20 dated 07.10.2021 shall remain unchanged.

Effect of this notification:

Forest Environment & Climate Change Department, Government of Odisha has been allowed time upto 06.10.2023 to finalize the modalities for export of the Red Sanders Heart Wood in log form.
