DMRC Recruitment 2023: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has released a recruitment notification, inviting applications for the post of General Manager (Civil) and Manager (S&T). DMRC is seeking experienced and motivated personnel to fill two positions of General Manager in the Civil department on a direct recruitment/deputation basis. Eligible candidates must be IRSE/Group-A officers with relevant experience and working in Indian Railways/PSUs/CPWD. As per DMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the pay scale/remuneration for the post is Rs. 1,20,000-2,80,000 IDA for direct recruitment.
The post of Manager (S&T) is also being recruited, with two vacancies open for direct recruitment/deputation/post-retirement contractual engagement basis. The required qualifications for the post of General Manager (Civil) include a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute with a minimum of 60% marks. The maximum age limit for deputation basis recruitment is 55 years, while for direct recruitment basis, it is 57 years plus deputation allowance (in case of deputation). As per DMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the post of Manager (S&T) requires the applicant to be a B.Tech/B.E. graduate in Electronics/Electrical/Communication Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks. The maximum age limit for deputation basis recruitment is 55 years, while for direct recruitment, it is 57 years, and for PRCE basis, the minimum age limit is 58 years, and the maximum age limit is 61 years. The last date of Application for the General Manager (Civil) post is 21 March 2023 and for Manager (S&T) is 31 March 2023.

As per DMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility criteria for the post of General Manager (Civil) requires that the candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university/institute. The candidate should also have varied experience of working in the Civil/Construction/Maintenance department in Indian Railways/CPSUs/CPWD and should be well-versed in functioning in a computerized environment. Additionally, the candidate should possess hands-on knowledge of various computer applications related to the job, which is desirable. It is important that the officer should be free from D&AR and Vigilance inquiry.
For the post of Manager (S&T), the candidate must be working in the Indian Railways or must be an Ex-S&T Officer of the Indian Railways and presently working in other Government sectors/PSUs. Alternatively, the candidate could be a retired S&T Officer (only for engagement on Post Retirement Contractual Engagement Basis) having relevant experience in the field of Railway Signaling Design and expertise in specific areas. The candidate should have experience in at least two areas, such as the design or data preparation of an Electronic Interlocking / Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), or the ability to prepare a Route Control Chart based on the Signaling Interlocking Plan in compliance with the General Rules (GR) / Subsidiary Rules (SR), Signaling Engineering Manual (SEM), and Latest Technical Circulars.
As per DMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, for the position of General Manager (Civil), candidates applying on a deputation basis will undergo a screening process that comprises a personal interview. On the other hand, candidates applying on a direct recruitment basis will have to go through both personal interviews and medical fitness examinations. The medical examination will be in the executive/technical category and the details are available on the DMRC website. Candidates will be called for an interview in a ratio of 1:5, subject to the availability of eligible candidates.
The selection process for the position of General Manager (Civil) will assess the candidate’s knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude, and physical fitness. Candidates must qualify/pass the screening process and medical examination before being considered suitable for selection. Candidates who fail the prescribed medical test will not be given any alternative employment, and the decision of the Corporation will be final.

The interview shall be held tentatively in the first week of April 2023 at Metro Bhawan, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi, or through online mode. Complete details shall be displayed on the DMRC website.
No separate communication shall be sent to candidates by post. Candidates are required to go through the instructions and schedule for the interview displayed on the DMRC website and appear for the interview accordingly.
The final result will be declared by the second week of April, 2023, tentatively.

The candidate must enclose all relevant documents in support of their qualification, work experience, pay & pay scale. Candidates presently employed in Govt. sector/ Public Sector Undertaking (PSUs) should send their application through proper channel along with Vigilance and D&AR clearance, so as to reach the address mentioned below within the stipulated time. All candidates are required to submit copies of their APARs of the last five years.
