As stated in the official notification of DMRC Recruitment 2024, there is only 01 vacancy open for the post of General Manager (Inspection).

Age Limit for DMRC Recruitment 2024:

Candidates must have the indicated age for applying to DMRC Recruitment 2024.

• The minimum age limit is 58 years and the maximum age limit is 62 years to apply on a PRCE basis.
• The maximum age limit is 55 years to apply on a Deputation basis.

Tenure for DMRC Recruitment 2024:

The appointment of DMRC Recruitment 2024 is made on a Deputation / Post Retirement Contractual Engagement (PRCE) basis and the chosen candidates will be posted at Sricity, near Chennai.

Salary for DMRC Recruitment 2024:

The chosen candidates for DMRC Recruitment 2024 will get a monthly salary as given below-

• The selected candidates on PRCE Basis will be given a consolidated fee of Rs.182500 per month.
• The selected candidates on a Deputation basis will continue to draw parent department pay plus deputation allowance, as applicable, under the Govt. of India rules.

Qualification and Experience for DMRC Recruitment 2024:

The applicant must have the essential qualifications and work experience for applying to DMRC Recruitment 2024 as mentioned below-

• The candidate should have a B.E. (Electrical/ Mechanical) or equivalent.

Experience-

For candidate’s retired from Railways/ PSUs in the CDA pay scale-

• Officers working in, or, retired (in case of application on PRCE basis) of Railways/ Govt. PSUs in the CDA pay scale of Level 14 (Rs.144200 – 218200), in the pay matrix as per the 7th CPC, in any Govt. Organization/ PSUs, including services put in on deputation, in the above pay scale, with a total of 18 years service at Gazetted / Executive level and a Minimum of 10 years experience in the field of inspection of manufacturing of Railway/ Metro Coaches. Officers working/retired in Non-Functional Grade at Level 14 may also apply.

For candidates retired from Govt. PSUs/ Metro in IDA pay scale-

• Officers working in, or, retired (in case of application on PRCE basis) of Govt. PSUs/ Metro in IDA pay scale of Rs.120000-280000/- in any Govt. PSUs/Metro’s, including services put in on deputation, in the above pay scale, with a total of 18 years’ service at Gazetted / Executive level and a Minimum of 10 years experience in the field of inspection of manufacturing of Railway/ Metro Coaches. Officers working/retired in Non-Functional Grade above the IDA scale may also apply.

Selection Process for DMRC Recruitment 2024:

The selection of DMRC Recruitment 2024 will be determined on the basis of a personal interview. The list of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the DMRC website in the Third week of March 2024 (tentatively) and interviews will be held in the Fourth week of March 2024 through online mode (tentatively) (complete details shall be displayed on the DMRC website).
