DOMS Industries gets Rs.6.07 Crore Tax Demand from Income Tax Department

DOMS Industries Limited has received a Notice of Demand and Rectification order from the Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax, Vapi Circle, for the Assessment Year 2020-21.

The Demand Order has been received by the Company under Section 154 read with Section 143(3) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, for a sum of Rs.6,07,83,850 due to the disallowance of the benefit of the concessional rate of tax at 22% under Section 115BAA of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

The Assessing Officer has issued the Rectification Order for Assessment Year 2020-21 under Section 154 read with Section 143(3) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and a Notice of Demand under Section 156 of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

The order was received by the Company on December 9, 2024.

The company is anticipated to file an appeal against the Order within the specified time frame.

The disclosure was made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
