Age Limit for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit for candidates belonging to (UR) /EWS category is 28 years, for OBC (Non-creamy layer) category is 31 years, and for SC/ST category is 33 years.

The Upper Age Relaxation is given below.

• For the PWD category candidate, the upper age relaxation is upto 10 years.
• The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for serving Central Civilian Govt. employees working in posts which are in the same line or allied cadres only if a relationship could be established that the service
  already rendered in a particular post will be useful for the efficient discharge of the duties of the advertised posts.
• The upper age limit is relaxable for Ex‐servicemen including Ex SSCOs/ECOs as per the rules in vogue.

Qualification for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the candidate must have the following qualification.

Electronics and Communication Engg

Applicant should have First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.

Mechanical Engg

Applicant should have First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.

Electrical Engg

Applicant should have First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.

Physics

Applicant should have First Class Master’s Degree in Science in the subject/discipline of Physics from a recognized university or equivalent.

Chemistry

Applicant should have a First Class Master’s Degree in Science in the subject/discipline of Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent.

Chemical Engg

Applicant should have First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Chemical Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.

Salary for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the applicant will be paid a monthly salary between Rs.56100 to Rs.100000.

Selection Procedure for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a GATE score in the ratio of 1:10 subject to their availability in order of discipline‐wise category‐wise merit list.

The final selection of the candidates will be purely on the basis of discipline-wise category-wise merit of aggregate of 80% weightage of marks of GATE score and 20% weightage of marks in the Personal Interview.

As mentioned in the Official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, applicants belonging to the General/EWS/OBC category have to pay Rs.100 as the application fee and ST/SC/PwBD category candidates are exempted from payment of the fee.
