DRDO Recruitment 2023: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is hiring interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply for the post of Scientists in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. The age of the candidates should be between 40 and 50 years old. Based on the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, Male candidates from the General, OBC, and EWS categories must pay a non-refundable, non-transferable application fee of Rs. 100 (Rs. One Hundred Only) when filling out the form. For SC/ST/Divyang and female candidates, there is no application cost.
Referring to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, there are now 03 open positions for the aforementioned position. The selected applicants will be paid between Rs. 67700 to Rs. 78800 according to the posts. Finalists will be contacted based on their performance in the Preliminary Online Interview. Candidates will be chosen for the Final Personal Interview. The candidates of Scientist ‘D’ age limit should not be exceeding 50 years.
The candidates of Scientist ‘C’ age limit should not be exceeding 40 years.
Qualifications for DRDO Recruitment 2023:
As informed in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the required essential qualifications are mentioned below:
For Radiology-
The candidates should have a medical qualification Included in the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of medical qualifications included in Part II of the said Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Act.
The candidates should have the required Post-Graduate Degree qualification in Radiology.
The candidates should have 07years of practical and administrative experience in the required field of Radiology.
For Nuclear Medicine-
The candidates should have a medical qualification Included in the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of medical qualifications included in Part II of the said Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Act.
The candidates should have the required Post-Graduate Degree qualification in Nuclear Medicine.
The candidates should have 03 years of practical and administrative experience in the required field of Nuclear Medicine.
Salary for DRDO Recruitment 2023:
Referring to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selected candidate’s salary is mentioned below:
The shortlisted candidates of Scientist ‘C’ will be paid a basic Pay of Rs. 67700, Level 11 as per 7th CPC.
The shortlisted candidates of Scientist ‘D’ will be paid a basic Pay of Rs. 78800, Level 12 as per 7th CPC.
In accordance with the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the relevant documents are listed below:
Date of Birth (DOB) proof: Self-attested Matriculation certificate/High School certificate/Birth Certificate issued by appropriate Local Authority etc. Ensure that DOB proof mentions the birth date.
A recent passport-size colour photograph (size not exceeding 30 KB; resolution of 110 x 140 pixels).
Scanned sample of candidate’s signature.
Self-attested certificates/testimonials regarding Essential and Higher qualifications along with mark sheets, caste, ex-servicemen, Disability certificate (wherever applicable), employment and experience etc.
The candidates, whether in government service or in Govt owned organisations, should upload a signed declaration (as per the proforma available at the RAC website) that they have informed their Cadre Controlling Authority (CCA) in writing regarding their application for the post of Scientist in DRDO.
In case of a mismatch in the candidate name and/or parent(s) name(s) of the candidate, as mentioned in the application form with any of the documents/certificates being uploaded, the relevant affidavit in support shall essentially be uploaded.
If any document/certificate furnished is in a language other than English or Hindi, a duly self-attested transcript of the same should be attached.
Candidates should attach all experience certificates and salary slips as proof of pay drawn for the experience claimed. The period of experience (date of joining/date of leaving/current job status) claimed should be easily verifiable from the salary slips/experience certificates/documents attached.
Upload requisite caste/ disability certificate, in case you belong to SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Divyang category.
Upload Release certificate in case you are a retired Armed Forces personnel. In case of Age relaxation is being sought then the candidate must ensure that the age relaxation under the Ex-serviceman category has not been claimed previously and the relevant proof is required to be uploaded for the same.
Application Fee for DRDO Recruitment 2023:
As mentioned in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the General, OBC and EWS male candidates are required to pay a non-refundable non-transferable application fee of Rs. 100 (Rs. One Hundred only) payable online only while filling out the form. There is no application fee for SC/ST/Divyang and Women candidates.
Referring to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the shortlisted candidates will be approached upon their performance in the Preliminary Online Interview. The candidates will be shortlisted for the Final Personal Interview. The final selection of candidates will be purely on the basis of merit of marks scored by a candidate in the final personal interview only. The candidates must score a minimum of 75%marks (i.e. 75 out of 100) for all Vacancies in the Final Personal Interview for consideration for selection.
