According to the official notification of DRDO recruitment 2023, there are the total number of 150 vacancies open for the post of Graduate Apprentice Trainees(Engineering), Graduate Apprentice Trainees (Non-Engineering), Diploma Apprentice Trainees and ITI Apprentice Trainees in various disciplines.

Age Limit for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As per the given notification of DRDO recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit should be 18 years and the maximum age limit should be 27 years for UR candidates, 30 years for OBC candidates, 32 years for SC/ST candidates and 37 years for PWD candidates.

Qualification and Experience for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of DRDO recruitment 2023, the required qualification and experience as mentioned below-

For Graduate Apprentice Trainees-Engineering (B.E/ B.Tech./ Equivalent) –

• A degree in engineering or technology granted by a statutory University/by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament.

For Graduate Apprentice Trainees- Non-Engineering (B.Com./B.Sc./B.A/BCA,BBA)-

• A degree granted by a statutory University/by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament/Educational Institutes established by a State Government /by an Institute recognized by the State Government or Central Government.

For Diploma Apprentice Trainees-

• A diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government/by a University/by an Institute recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma.
• Sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he/she may hold a diploma in Engg./Technology.

For ITI Apprentice Traniees-

• A certificate in vocational Course involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognized by the All India Council for Technical education.
• A sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he may hold the certificate mentioned above.

Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam earlier than 2020 are not eligible.
Candidates with higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.

Salary for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

Selected candidates will get a monthly stipend as under below-

For Engineer Stream-

• Selected candidates for Graduate Apprentice (B.E./B.Tech./Eqvt.) will get a monthly stipend of Rs.9000.
• Selected candidates for Diploma Apprentice will get a monthly stipend of Rs.8000.
• Selected candidates for ITI Apprentice will get a monthly stipend of Rs.7000.

For Non-Engineering-General Stream

• Selected candidates for Graduate Apprentice (B.Com./B.Sc./B.A/BCA/BBA) will get a monthly stipend of Rs.9000.

Selection Process for DRDO Recruitment 2023

According to the official notification of DRDO recruitment 2023, candidates will be carried out by shortlisting on the basis of Academic Merit/Written Test/interview.
