As per the official notification of DTC Recruitment 2023, the opportunity opened for eligible and qualified candidates for the positions of Senior Manager (Mechanical) and Senior Manager (Tr.) in DTC on a contract basis. There are a total number of 21 seats available for the mentioned position.

Qualification for DTC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of DTC Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications for the mentioned positions are given below:
For Senior Manager (Mechanical) –
Essential Qualification-

• The candidates should have a degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
• The candidates should have five years of experience in repairs and maintenance of Heavy-duty automotive diesel vehicles in a responsible supervisory capacity in a large workshop.
• Adequate knowledge of the latest production techniques and quality control.
• The candidates should have the capacity for administrative work and for handling civilian labour.

Desirable Qualification-
The candidates should have knowledge of Cost Accounting.

For Senior Manager (Tr.)-

Essential Qualification-

• The candidates should have a degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
  The candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in a responsible supervisory capacity in the Traffic Department of a big Road Corporation preferably a City Transport Corporation.

Desirable Qualification-

• The candidates should have knowledge of Planning routes, framing of schedules and other allied matters.

Age Limitation DTC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of DTC Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s age limit should be 45 years for the post of Senior Manager (Mech.) and 40 years for the post of Senior Manager (Tr.). Age relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/Departmental candidate as per DoPT’s Guidelines.

Salary for DTC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification DTC Recruitment 2023, the successful candidate for the mentioned positions would be paid a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 67700+ Rs.25726 = 93426 (Matrix Level 11 in the 7th Pay Commission).

Tenure for DTC Recruitment 2023:

As informed by the official notification of DTC Recruitment 2023, the selection of Contractual Managers for a term of 01 years, renewable on a year-to-year basis after a one-day break in service depending on the performance of Contract Officers during the contract time and the corporation’s needs.

The procedure of Selection for DTC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of DTC Recruitment 2023, the DTC maintains the authority to finalise the selection criteria for future Contractual Officer selection. DTC’s decision about eligibility or otherwise shall be final.
