Due Date extension Alert: Government Extends Annual Accounts Submission Deadline for Trusts
The Government of Maharashtra recently shared a circular dated September 19, 2025. Through Circular the Charity Commissioner of Maharashtra has announced that all registered trusts now have an extended deadline to submit their annual accounts for the financial year 2024-25. The new due date is October 1, 2025.
According to Section 41(k) of the Maharashtra Public Trusts Act, 1950, trusts can submit their accounts either online or offline through the website charity.maharashtra.gov.in. This extension has been granted to simplify the process for all public trusts and registration offices.
