DVC Recruitment 2023: The Human Resource Department, Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), Ministry of Power, Government of India, Kolkata has invited Online Applications from the Candidates Eligible for 05 Posts Junior Engineers in 05 different Branches (Mechanical/ Electrical/ C&I/ Civil/ Communication) with 40 Vacancies through this DVC Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notice Dated 01.05.2023. Based on the DVC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there are 40 Vacancies to be filled up with Appointment for Junior Engineer Grade II (JE Gr.II) in 05 disciplines (Mechanical/Electrical/C&I/Civil/Communication respectively) through Computer-based Tests (CBTs) for Selection and Posting in Kolkata.
Based on the DVC Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notice, Bright, Result-oriented and Promising Candidates with Interest in DVC Junior Engineer Grade-II may apply up to 26.05.2023 following the Instructions prescribed therein.

Pay Matrix: Level 06 (Rs.35400 to Rs. 112400)
The DVC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification mandates the Age Limit for Open Category/General Merit Candidates (as on the Closing Date 26.05.2023) as follows:
Age Limit: The Un-Reserved Applicants should not be exceeding Maximum 28 Years.

The Eligibility, in accordance with the Prescribed DVC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, in common for all 05 Notified Junior Engineer Posts with 40 Vacancies is narrated hereunder:
03-Years’ Full-Time Diploma in the Post Allied Disciplines from any of the AICTE (All-India Council for Technical Education) Approved and duly-recognized Colleges/Institutes with Minimum/Not Lesser than 65% Marks in respect of General Category Candidates. OBC (NCL)/EWS) and (SC/ST/PwBDs) should have scored 60% Marks.
Selection for Junior Engineer Grade II Posts, in accordance with the DVC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification shall be conducted through a Computer-Based Test. DVC Junior Engineer Grade II Recruitment involves a Common Computer-Based Test comprising 02 Papers with the Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions With Negative Marking.
The Minimum Qualifying Marks to be obtained by the Candidates are as follows:
I) Un-Reserved Category: 50% of Total Marks in each Part (Part I and Part II)
II) EWS/OBC (NCL): 50% of Total Marks in each Part (Part I and Part II)
SC/ST/PwBDs: 40% of Total Marks in each Part (Part I and Part II).
The Candidates, as a result, shortlisted on the basis of the Minimum Pass Marks obtained in the Computer-Based Test would be subjected to Document Verification (DV).
However, Appointment of the Selected Candidate is subject to his/ her being found Medically Fit after Verification of Documents, as per the Damodar Valley Corporation Norms. Such Appointments shall also be subject to the Service and Conduct Rules of Damodar Valley Corporation. All the Selected Candidates will also need to furnish/submit Service Agreement Bonds for Rs.2.00 Lac/01 Lac as well at the time of Joining indicating their individual Commitment for 04 Years (01 Year of Probation and subsequent 03 Years).
According to the DVC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Un-Reserved Category Candidate shall need to pay Online Application Fee through SBI Collect:
A) General Category: Application Fee: Rs 300 (Rupees Three Hundred) Only through the Prescribed Options mentioned in the DVC Recruitment 2023 Employment Notice.
B) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBDs/Ex-Service-Men Categories & DVC Departmental Candidates are exempted from payment of the Application Fee.
