Qualification for East Coast Railway Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of East Coast Railway Recruitment 2023, the required qualification are mentioned below-

Group C

• Candidates should have the 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. (50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC categories. 50% marks are not required for SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability/Ex-servicemen candidates and candidates possessing higher qualifications like Graduation/Post Graduation.). (OR) A pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board and having an ITI certificate for the posts in Technical Categories.

Erstwhile Gr.D

• Candidates should have 10th standard or ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board. (OR) candidates should have National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. For the post in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecom Department and Catering Wing of Railways the minimum qualification is a 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or a 10th pass plus ITI.

Age Limit for East Coast Railway Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of East Coast Railway Recruitment 2023, candidates applying for the post should have a minimum age of 18 years and the maximum age limit for applying for the post in Group C should be below the age of 30 years and the maximum age limit for the post of Erstwhile Gr.D is 33 years.

Salary for East Coast Railway Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of East Coast Railway Recruitment 2023, the selected candidate in Group C will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 2 and the candidate selected on Erstwhile Gr.D will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 1.
