ESIC Recruitment 2023: ESIC Hospital in Korba, CG is inviting applications for recruitment on a contractual basis for 15 Vacant Posts of Full Time Specialist/Part Time Specialist and Senior Resident. The walk-in interview for these positions will take place on April 28, 2023, at ESIC Hospital, Korba, CG. As per ESIC Recruitment 2023 official notification, The available posts are for Full Time Specialist/Part Time Specialist in various departments such as General Medicine, OBS & GYNE, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Radiology, Anesthesia, Chest (Pulmonary Medicine), and ENT, along with six vacant posts for Senior Residents in departments such as Anesthesia Gen. Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetric, and Gynecology, Orthopedics, and TB Chest.
For the Full Time Contractual Specialist position, the age limit should not exceed 69 years as of the date of the interview, as per Office Memorandum No. U-13/14/38/2020-Med.I (ESIC/SC) dated 01-09-2021, with age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC NCL and all others as per the Central Government rule. Similarly, for the Senior Resident position, the age limit should not exceed 45 years as of the date of the interview, with age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) and all others as per the Central Government rule. It is important to note that no age relaxation would be available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies. Reservation for Ex-servicemen will be as per the rule, and reservation for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS will be applicable as per FNo 36011/1/2022-Estt. (Res 1) GOI Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.

As per ESIC Recruitment 2023 official notification, regarding educational qualifications, both Full-Time and Part-Time Contractual Specialists must have an MBBS degree with a post-graduate degree or equivalent/ PG Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university. They must also be registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Councils.
Senior Residents must possess an MBBS degree with a post-graduate degree or equivalent/ PG Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university. Non-PG doctors who have at least 2 years of working experience after MBBS in the same discipline and are registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Councils can also apply. Any discretion that arises will be resolved by MS ESICH Korba.
As per ESIC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the tenure of engagement for the recruitment of Full-Time Specialists (FTS) and Part-Time Specialists (PTS) is different. For FTS, the recruitment will be for a period of 1 year on a contractual basis with an annual evaluation.
The term will be renewed every year based on satisfactory performance or till a regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier. For PTS, the tenure of the contract is for one year from the date of joining or till a regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier. The duration of the contract for both FTS and PTS can be extended based on satisfactory performance.
As per ESIC Recruitment 2023 official notification, terms of remuneration, payment, and salary will be guided by ESICH HQ office instructions on the subject. The current consolidated pay for Korba (Z category city) will be applicable, as per the ESIC HQ letter number OM Z-11012/51/2022-MED-VI dated 08/12/2022. The consolidated pay for FTS is Rs 114955/- per month, while the PTS is offered a consolidated pay of Rs 60,000/- per month. Additionally, an emergency visit by the specialist is charged at Rs 15,000/-, and any additional remuneration beyond 16 hours per week is set at Rs 800/- for each additional hour, which must be justified by the Medical Superintendent. The SR will also be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs 114955/- per month.
