ESIC MC (Chennai) Recruitment 2023: The Office of Dean, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation Medical College & Hospital (ESIC MCH), Chennai has invited Applications from the Medical Teaching Faculty Candidates meeting Eligibility for Contractual Medical Teaching Faculty-Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors in the Departmental/Branch/Disciplines. There are 35 Vacancies to be filled up with the Medical Teaching Faculty-Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors on a Contractual Basis through Walk-in Interviews slated to be held on the appointed dates in January and February 2023.

As per the ESIC Recruitment 2023 notification, Eligible Candidates may fill up the Applications in the Prescribed Proforma to be able to appear for Walk-in-Interviews on the Dates stipulated for Walk-in-Interview.

Note: Those Eligible for the Posts are Eligible to apply for Single Posts with an exception of Emergency Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Departments.

Eligibility for ESIC Recruitment 2023:

Teaching Faculty: As per the ESIC MC (Chennai) Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Academic Qualifications and Teaching Experiences to be Eligible for Engagement remains in accordance with the “Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions, 2022” as amended and applicable as on the Date of Interview(s) to the respective Posts (Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors).

Interview Schedule:

The Interviews slated to be held on the 16th, 17th and 25th Dates of February 2023 would involve the Registration and Document Verification Process prior to the commencement of Walk-in-Interviews.

Selection Criteria for ESIC Recruitment 2023:

As per the ESIC MC (Chennai) Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, Selection to the notified Posts of Medical Teaching Faculty-Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors shall be carried through Screening Test and based on Interviews. The ESIC MC Screening Committee shall conduct Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions best Screening Test and subsequent Interviews of the Shortlisted Candidates for Contractual Appointment on the Post Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors.

Selection to the Medical Teaching Faculty-Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors will be conducted on the basis of the Candidate’s individual Performance in the Interview before the Selection Board.

ii) Result will be communicated through E-mail and will be displayed on Website for the ready reference of the Candidates.

iii) The Selected Candidates will have to join Immediately after receipt of the Offer of Appointment.

The Teaching Faculty so engaged will have to enter into a Contractual Agreement on an Rs.100 Stamp Paper for the purpose.
