The ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification has occurred for 03 Posts with 29 Vacancies to be filled up on Contractual Engagement Basis  explained hereunder:

Brief Description: 03 Posts: Senior Resident, Full-Time Contractual Specialist, Part-Time Contractual Specialist for 43 Vacancies

I) Senior Resident: 21 Vacancies

II) Senior Resident: 08 Vacancies

III) Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual Specialists: 08 Vacancies

Appointment Terms: Contractual Engagement of 01 Year and 03 Years

Monthly Remuneration under ESIC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, the Monthly Salary for the Appropriately Suitable Candidates selected as Senior Residents and Full-Time Contractual Specialists and Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual Specialists shall  be as has been explained hereunder:

I) Post Nomenclature: Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual Specialist

Emolument Criteria: As per Central Government rules adopted by the ESIC.

II) Post Nomenclature: Senior Resident: 01-Year Contractual Basis against General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) Post.

Emolument Criteria: As per Central Government rules adopted by the ESIC.

III) Post Nomenclature: Senior Resident (Under Residency): 03-Years Contractual Basis Post.

Emolument Criteria: As per Central Government rules adopted by the ESIC.

Age Limits under ESIC Recruitment 2023:

According to the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Post-specific varying Age Limits as on 31.07.2023 have been explained. The Varying Age Limits, in accordance with the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice as on 31.07.2023 Applicable to the Un-Reserved Category Candidates are as follows:

Post-specific Age Limits:

I) Senior Resident Post:

Age Limits:

i) Not exceeding 45 Years for General Category Candidates.

ii) Relaxations in the Upper Age for Reserved Community Candidates.

II) Full-Time Contractual Specialist Post:

III) Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual Specialist Posts:

Age Limit: Not exceeding 69 Years for General Category Candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for ESIC Recruitment 2023:

According to the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Applicants should have gained the Eligibility comprising Educational Qualifications and Post-Professional Qualification Experience stipulated for the notified Posts and narrated hereunder:

01) Senior Resident Post:

Educational Qualifications:

01) MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/DNB/Diploma Or Equivalent/as per Residency Scheme in Concerned Specialty from any Duly Recognized University/Institution with 02-Years’ Experience post-MBBS in the Concerned Super-Specialty is likely to be considered for Selection.

In addition, if the Candidate has Post Graduate Degree/DNB/Diploma not available, those without PG Qualification but have 02 Years’ Experience in the Concerned Specialty may be considered.

Note: The Candidates having already served as Senior Residents for 03-Years after Post Graduation under the Central Residency Scheme (CRS) in any Government Organization are Ineligible for Senior Resident Posts under 03-Years’ Senior Residency Scheme.

02) Full-Time Contractual Specialist Post:

01) MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/DNB/Diploma Or Equivalent in Concerned Specialty from any Duly Recognized University/Institution with 03-Years’ Experience post-MBBS in the Concerned Super-Specialty is likely to be considered for Selection. Or  Post Graduate Diploma in Concerned Specialty from any Duly Recognized University/Institution with 05-Years of experience post-PG Diploma in the Concerned Super-Specialty is likely to be considered for Selection.

03) Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual Specialist Post:

01) MBBS, MD/MS/DNB with DM/DNB in Concerned Specialty from any University/Institution Duly Recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI); And

02) Registered with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC); With 05-Years Experience post-PG Diploma in the Concerned Super-Specialty is likely to be considered for Selection.

Note: In the case of Doctorate of Medicine (DM) Holders, 05-Years Duration Educational Qualification, the Period of Senior Post Graduate Residency rendered in the Last Part of the Said Doctorate of Medicine (MD) shall be counted towards Experience Requirement. 

Selection Criteria under ESIC Recruitment 2023:

The Selection Criteria for Selection on various Posts; viz., Senior Residents, Full-Time Contractual Specialists and Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual  Specialists shall be carried through by Walk-in-Interviews and Pre-Interview Verification of the Testimonials/ Documents.  The Contractual Engagement Duration of Senior Residents shall remain 03 Years for Senior Residents.

Engagement Duration for Full-Time Contractual Specialist shall remain 03 Year, subject to Annual Renewal based on the Incumbent’s Performance or till a Regular Incumbent joins.

Engagement Duration for Part-Time Contractual Specialist shall remain 01 Year or till a Regular Incumbent joins.

Upon Selection, the Candidate shall have to pay Rs 10000.00 (Rupees Ten Thousand) only as Security Deposit in the shape of a Demand Draft in favor of ESIC Fund Account No. 1 Payable in Baddi at the time of joining, which is Refundable after the Incumbent’s Successful Completion of the Contractual Period. The Candidate shall have to furnish a “No Dues Certificate”.

In case of Selection, the Candidate shall have to enter into an Agreement with the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Medical Hospital, Baddi on a Rs. 100.00 Stamp Paper (Non-Judicial). The Stamp Paper Charges will be borne by the Candidate as a First Party.

Security Deposit for ESIC Recruitment 2023: As has been mentioned in the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, issued Every Selected Candidate for the Post of Senior Residents  will need to furnish a Demand Draft for a Sum Rs.10000 (Rupees Ten Thousand only) as Security Money Deposit drawn up in favor of ESI Fund Account No.-1 payable in New Delhi at the time of joining.

The Selected Candidate will also have to furnish/submit Duly Notarized Agreement incorporating the Terms and Conditions of the Appointment on a Rs.100 Stamp Paper in the Format provided by the Office.

Note: The Intending Eligible Applicants may complete the Applications and reach the Office of the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Hospital, Delhi on the Date of Walk-in-Interview; i.e., on 31.07.2023 (Latest by 09:00 A.M.)  But Not Later than 11:00 AM along with Original Documents and one set of photocopies (Self-Attested) as listed on the Application Form.
