EY is hiring candidates for the Tax-ACR-Senior-ACR CoE_FO_General Accounting post in their Bengaluru location.  The candidate will be responsible for reviewing multi-country Corporate or Group Accounting processes including General Ledger, Balance Sheet reconciliation, and month-end processes.

Responsibility

• To guarantee a seamless closing of books, reconciliations, and reporting, strict adherence to the client’s compliance schedule is required.
• Acquire a complete grasp of the client’s business processes and operations in order to determine their needs and guarantee that they are addressed through frequent updates, schedules, and reports.
• Maintain a dashboard to show activity progress and the current state of multi-country interactions.
• Ability to respond to clients’ questions in a timely and comprehensive manner
• Willingness to question status quo procedures and a drive to enhance quality by giving lean ideas, ensuring an atmosphere with strict controls, and implementing process changes
• Examine all of the team’s transactions and reports for timeliness, adequacy, and correctness.
• Review the multi-country engagement progress dashboard and hold review sessions with numerous stakeholders.
• To strengthen teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration.
• To give enough technical direction to the team and to develop a value proposition
• Manage ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders as well as other project-related obligations.

Qualification

• Qualified Chartered Accountants CA or ACCA or CPA with 1 to 3 years of experience or B.COM or M.COM or CA inter or MBA with overall 3 to 6 years of experience
• 3 to 6 years of experience in accounting; shared service General Ledger (GL), 1 to 2 years of experience in a people management role
• End-to-end knowledge of accounting processes, and accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP)
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Experience in a shared service center mandatory for external hires
