UPSC Recruitment 2022: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is hiring candidates for the Senior Agricultural Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, Assistant Director (Corporate Law),  Assistant Chemist, Assistant Hydrogeologist,  Junior Time Scale (JTS) Grade of Central Labour Service(Group ‘A’ Organized Service) consisting of the posts of Assistant Labour Commissioner (Central)/ Assistant Welfare Commissioner (Central)/ Assistant Labour Welfare Commissioner (Central)/ Assistant Director, Assistant Chemist, Assistant Geologist, Assistant Geophysicist, Lecturer (Education Technology/Computer Education, English, Hindi, Humanities, Mathematics, Philosophy, Science, Sociology and Psychology posts. There are 160 vacancies for these posts. The age limit will be between 30 years to 40 years. The salary will be between Rs. 44900 to Rs. 208700 per month.

Post-Wise Details for UPSC Recruitment 2022

Senior Agricultural Engineer

Number of Vacancies – 07

Age Limit 

The maximum age limit will be 40 years.

Eligibility

A. Educational: Degree in Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

B. Experience: Five years experience in the Operation and Maintenance of tractors, Agricultural Machinery and allied equipment including teaching experience in any Government or privately listed organization Or

Five years experience in handling independent testing and evaluation of farm machinery and agricultural implements in any Government or privately listed organization.

C. Desirable Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.

Pay Scale

Level 11 (Rs. 67700- 208700) in the pay matrix.

Agricultural Engineer

Number of Vacancy – 01

Age Limit 

The maximum age limit will be 33 years.

Eligibility

A. Educational: Degree in Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering of a recognized University.

B. Experience: (i) Two years experience in testing and evaluation of agricultural Machinery from Central Government or state governments or union territory administrations or public sector undertakings or agricultural universities or recognized research institutions or councils or semi-Government or autonomous or statutory organizations. Or

(ii) Two years’ experience of teaching or as a trainer, including experience in the operation or maintenance of tractors and agricultural implements or machinery, the experience sought is to be from Central Government or state governments or union territory administrations or public sector undertakings or agricultural universities or recognized research institutions or councils or semi-Government or autonomous or statutory organizations.

C. Desirable Qualification: One year of practical experience of mechanized farming practices.

Pay Scale

Level 7 (Rs. 44900-142400) in the pay matrix.

Assistant Director (Corporate Law)

Number of Vacancies – 13

Age Limit 

The maximum age limit will be 30 years.

Eligibility

A. Educational: (i) Bachelor degree in Law from a recognized University or Institute OR

(ii) Integrated Bachelor degree in Law (Five Years’) from a recognized University or Institute OR

(iii) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute and Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

B. Desirable Qualification: (i) One year experience in the field of Corporate Law

(ii) Should be conversant with the tools and techniques of collection of evidence or recordings of statements and presentation of evidence in proceedings.

Pay Scale

As per 7th CPC Level-8 (Rs. 47600-151100) in the Pay Matrix. Total emoluments excluding T.A. & HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 47,600 plus DA as applicable per month approximately.

 Assistant Chemist

Number of Vacancy- 01

Age Limit 

The maximum age limit will be 30 years.

Eligibility

A. Educational: Masters’s Degree in Chemistry /Organic Chemistry/ Physical Chemistry/ Inorganic Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science from a recognized University or Institute.

B. Desirable Qualification: Two years experience in Ground Water Analysis and Ground Water Chemistry work from any recognized Institute or autonomous body/Government organization.

Level – 08 (Rs.47,600-1,51,100) in Pay Matrix as per CCS (R.P.) Rules, 2016. Total emoluments excluding T.A. & HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 47,600 plus DA as applicable per month approximately

Assistant Hydrogeologist

Number of Vacancies – 70

Age Limit 

The maximum age limit will be 30 years.

Eligibility

Educational: Master of Science Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-exploration or Earth Science and Resource Management or Hydrogeology or Master of Technology in Engineering Geology from a recognized University.

Pay Scale

Level – 08 (Rs.47,600-1,51,100) in Pay Matrix as per CCS (R.P.) Rules, 2016. Total emoluments excluding T.A. & HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 47,600 plus DA as applicable per month approximately

How to Apply for UPSC Recruitment 2022

i) Candidates must apply online through the official website. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.

ii) Candidates must upload the documents/certificates in support of all the claims made by them in the application like Date of Birth, Experience (preferably in prescribed format), Desirable Qualification(s), etc. or any other information, separately against each claim in pdf file in such a way that the file size does not exceed 1 MB for the respective aforesaid modules and 2 MB for the “UPLOAD OTHER DOCUMENT” module and is legible when a printout is taken. For that purpose, the applicant may scan the documents/certificates in 200 dpi grey scale. Documents like Pay Slip, Resume, Appointment Letter, Relieving Letter, Un-signed Experience Certificate, etc. must not be uploaded in the Document Upload Module:-

a) Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent certificate indicating date of birth, or mark sheet of Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent issued by Central/State Board indicating Date of Birth in support of claim of age. Where the date of birth is not available in certificate/mark sheets, issued by concerned Educational Boards, School leaving certificates indicate the Date of Birth (in the case of Tamil Nadu& Kerala).

b) Degree/Diploma certificate as proof of educational qualification claimed. In the absence of a Degree/Diploma certificate, a provisional certificate along with mark sheets pertaining to all the academic years.

c) Order/ letter in respect of equivalent Educational Qualifications claimed, indicating the Authority (with number and date) under which it has been so treated, in respect of equivalent clause in Essential Qualifications, if a candidate is claiming a particular qualification as equivalent qualification as per the requirement of advertisement.

d) Certificate(s) in the prescribed proforma from the Head(s) of Organization(s)/Department(s) for the entire experience claimed, clearly mentioning the duration of employment (date, month & year) indicating the basic pay and consolidated pay. The certificate(s) should also mention the nature of duties performed/experience obtained in the post(s) with duration(s). Experience Certificate should be issued in the prescribed format relevant to the post. Experience certificate not in prescribed proforma but containing all the details as mentioned above would be considered on merits by the Commission.
