Faceless MCA soon: Government working towards MCA Central Processing Centre

As per the question asked in Lok Sabha:

(a) whether the Government is working towards a Central Processing Centre which will be set up for faster response to companies through centralized handling of various forms filed with field offices under the Companies Act; and

(b) if so, the details thereof and the present status thereof and location identified to date including Telangana?

The Answer to the question was:

Yes, a Central Processing Centre (CPC) is proposed to be set up for centralized handling of various Non-Straight Through forms which the Jurisdictional Registrar of Companies is currently processing. A Committee has been constituted within the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for the implementation and setting up of CPC.

However, CPC is likely to be established at Manesar and there is no plan to set up the Centre in Telangana.
