FTII Recruitment 2023: The Registrar, Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) (Pune), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has invited Online Applications from the Persons Eligible for Multiple Posts for Regular Employment in Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ with 84 Vacancies for Posting in Pune vide this FTII Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notice Dated 29.04.2023. According to the FTII Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, there have occurred 30 Posts; viz., Cameraman, Film Editor, Make-up Artist, Research Assistant and various other Posts with Pay Matrix Levels 07, 06, 04, 02, and 01 respectively for 84 Vacancies to be filled up through Direct Recruitment.
As Per the FTII Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Online Application is in progress. And the Closing Date for submission of Online Applications in all respects by the Eligible Candidates with Individual Interests in the Posts is 29.05.2023. The Candidates should apply accordingly.

Based on the FTII Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, Multiple Pay Matrix Levels under which the Posts are to be filled up are narrated hereunder:
A) 1st Post: Pay Matrix Level 07
B) 2nd to 11th Posts: Pay Matrix Level 06
C) 12th to 16th Posts: Pay Matrix Level 04
D) 17th to 22nd Posts: Pay Matrix Level 02
E) 23rd to 30th Posts: Pay Matrix Level 01
The FTII Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement has mandated the Maximum Age for General Merit/Un-Reserved Category Candidates (As on the Closing Date 29.05.2023) as follows:
I) 1st to 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th -11th & 19th Posts: 30 Years
II) 7th Post: 50 Years
III) 12th Post: 25 Years
IV) 13th Post: 40 Years
V) 14th & 15th Posts: 27 Years
VI) 16th to 18th and 20th to 30 Posts: 25 Years
Note: The Post-Specific Eligibility having been prescribed in the FTII Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notice may be read carefully by the Applicants therein:
As regards to Educational Qualifications, the Required 10th (Matriculate)/12th (Intermediate)/ITI Trade Qualification/FT Diploma/Full-Time Degree or Equivalent from any of the Government of India Recognized Boards/Universities/Institutes Or Equivalent must have been acquired before the Closing Date of the Online Application.
As regards to equivalent qualification or equivalent Board/University, it Onus/Accountability lies on the Applicant/Candidate to obtain & submit the necessary Equivalence Certificate(s) issued by the Competent Authority(ies) while submitting the Online Application Form failing which the claim will not be considered.
The FTII Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notification mandates the Pen-Paper-Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions Written Examination carrying 100 Marks aimed at Shortlisting for the Viva-voce/Skill Tests and Subsequent Document Verification of the Candidates Selected for the Posts Applied/Opted for by them.
Post-Announcement of the Results of PBT and Skill Tests (wherever applicable), Document Verification (DV) will be conducted by FTII in respect of the Selected Candidates as per the Merit of Result and Vacancy/ies against respective Posts.
Scheme of Examination and Selection:
The Registrar shall conduct an OMR (Optical Mark Reader) Based Written Test (PBT) Paper for all Posts. A Bilingual (English and Hindi Languages) Written Examination for all Posts with Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) shall carry Maximum 100 Marks.
Minimum Passing Marks for the Test out of 100 Marks: 01) In Aggregate 50 Marks for General Category; 02) 45 Marks for OBC (NCL) & General EWS; 03) 40 Marks for SC/ST and General (PwBDs). Further, 35 Marks for OBC (NCL) PwBDs and 30 Marks for SC/ST PwBDs, if Vacancy has been reserved for the Said Caste. There are no Separate Passing Marks for General Ability (with Sub-Sections) and or Specific Area. In-Total Marks out of 100 will be considered.
Final Selection on all the Posts shall be in the order of Merit based on Combined/Aggregate Marks and in the case of any Tie, Resolution of Tie Cases.
As per the FTII Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Application Fee to be remitted by the Applicants should be read as follows:
Application Fee: Rs 1000 (Rupees One Thousand) for each Post.
The Candidates desirous of applying for more than 01 (One) Post(s), shall need to pay the Application Fee separately for each Post.
