01) Executive Trainee (Chemical): 20# Vacancies (inclusive of 11 Nos. for General Merit)

02) Executive Trainee (Civil): 11 Vacancies (Including 07 Nos. for General Merit)

Monthly Emoluments under GAIL Recruitment 2023:

According to the GAIL Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Monthly Emolument accruing to the Persons shall be as follows:

Suitable Candidates selected as Executive Engineers will be placed with Appointments in the Pay Scale of Rs.60000–180000 at the Basic Pay of Rs.60000 during 01 (One) Year’s Training-cum-Probation as Executive Trainee in E-2 Grade. On successful completion of their Training-cum-Probation Period, they will be absorbed in the same Pay Scale of Rs.60000-180000 in E-2 Grade.

Upper Age Limits under GAIL Recruitment 2023:

As has been notified vide the GAIL Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Un-Reserved Category Candidates as on 15.032023 should be aged as hereunder:

Age Limit: 26 Years in respect of the Open Merit Candidate. Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidate are also explained in the GAIL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.

Note: Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit for Ex-service-Men also explained in the Notification.

The Maximum Age Limit of the Applicant should not exceed 56 Years.

Eligibility under GAIL Recruitment 2023:

According to the GAIL Recruitment 20023, the Eligibility specific to all Executive Trainee Posts are explained hereunder:

For Posts 01-03: Executive Trainee (Chemical)/(Civil)/ [GAILTEL TC/TM)] Full-Time (Regular) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in the Concerned Branch of Subject Studied with Minimum 65% Marks from any Accredited University/Institute.

For Post 04: Executive Trainee (BIS): Full-Time (Regular) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (CS) with Minimum 65% Marks from any Accredited University/Institute; Or Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 60% Marks and 03 Years’ Master’s Degree in Computer Application (MCA) with Minimum 65% Marks from any Accredited University/Institute.

Note:

a) The Candidates having 05-Years’ B.Engg./B.Tech. Plus M.Engg./M.Tech. Integrated Dual Degree in Engineering in the Relevant Discipline shall also be considered.

b) The Bachelor’s Engineering Degree may be Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Science Engineering.

Selection Process under GAIL Recruitment 2023:

Based on the GATE-2023 Marks and Requirements, the Candidates will be shortlisted for further Selection Process for the Executive Trainee Position in the notified concerned disciplines. Only GATE-2023 Marks shall remain Valid for this Recruitment Exercise. GATE 2022 Marks or prior to that is neither Valid nor shall be considered for the Selection Purpose.

GAIL shall utilize the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2023 Marks (GATE-2023 Marks) for recruitment of Executive Trainees in the disciplines of Chemical, Civil, GATELTEL (TC/TM), and BIS during the Year 2023. Selection on the Executive Trainee Positions shall be carried through by Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview.

How to Apply for GAIL Recruitment 2023:

According to the GAIL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligible Candidates with Willingness to apply for the Executive Trainee Positions in GAIL should First register for GATE-2023 and thereafter, appear in GATE-2023 as per the Instructions and Timelines notified by GATE-2023 Organizing Institute in the relevant GATE-2023 Examination Papers notified therein.
