GAIL Recruitment 2023: GAIL India Limited has released a job advertisement for the position of Director (Business Development) on its official website. The Director will be responsible for strategic planning and business development activities of the company and will report to the Chairman & Managing Director. As per GAIL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the position requires an Engineering Graduate with a good academic record from a recognized university or institution and at least 5 years of cumulative experience in the field of Business Development/Marketing/Market Research/Sales/Project/Operations/Commercial Contracts/Product Distribution at a senior level of management in an organization. As per GAIL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidate should be between 45-58 years old and must Private be currently employed in a regular capacity in one of the following: Central Public Sector Enterprise, Central Government, State Public Sector Enterprise, or Sector Company where the annual turnover is Rs 10,000 crore or more.
The Director’s appointment will be for a period of five years from the date of joining, up to the date of superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. As per GAIL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the pay scale for the Director position varies according to the employment status of the applicant. Candidates from Central Government or All India Services should be holding a post of the level of Joint Secretary in the Government of India or carrying an equivalent scale of pay on the date of application. Applicants from the Armed forces of the Union should be holding a post of the level of Major General in the Army or equivalent rank in Navy/Air Force on the date of application.

For internal candidates, a minimum length of service of one year in the eligible scale is required as of the date of the vacancy, while for others, the minimum length of service required in the eligible scale is two years as of the date of the vacancy.
