IOCL Recruitment 2023: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is a major integrated oil and gas company that was formed in 1964 by the merger of Indian Refineries Limited and Indian Oil Company.
IOCL is currently seeking a Director (Research & Development), who will be a member of the Board of Directors and report to the Chairman. The Director will be responsible for effectively guiding Research & Development in accordance with the corporation’s plans and objectives and national priorities. Applicants for the position must be employed in a regular capacity on the date of application and interview in a Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE), including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE; the Central Government, including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services; a State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is Rs 10,000 crore or more; or a private sector company where the annual turnover is Rs 10,000 crore or more. Candidates from listed companies will be given preference. As per IOCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, The candidate should be an engineering post-graduate, preferably in Chemical/Mechanical/Fuel Technology/Tribology with a good academic record from a recognized university/institute, and should have adequate R&D/Technical experience/exposure at a senior level of management in a large organization of repute, out of which at least five years of cumulative experience/exposure out of the last ten years should have been in R&D pertaining to the petroleum refinery/Lubrication & Tribology/Petrochemicals sector. As per IOCL Recruitment 2023 official notification the appointment will be for a period of five years from the date of joining or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

As per IOCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the applicants for the post should submit their applications online in the prescribed format. The submission of applications should be through proper channels, depending on the current position of the applicant. Government officers, including those of the Armed Forces and All India Services, should submit their applications through their Cadre Controlling Authority. CMDs/MDs/Functional Directors in CPSE should submit their applications through the concerned Administrative Ministry. Below Board level in CPSE, applicants should submit their applications through the concerned CPSE. CMDs/MDs/Functional Directors in State PSE should submit their applications through the concerned Administrative Secretary and Cadre Controlling Authority, if any, of the State Government. Below Board level in SPSE, applicants should submit their applications through the concerned SPSE. Private sector applicants should submit their applications directly to the PESB.
Applicants from the private sector should submit the following documents along with the application form: annual reports of the company in which they are currently working for the 3 financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised, evidence of working at Board level or at least a post of the level immediately below the Board level, self-attested copies of documents in support of age and qualifications, and relevant jobs handled in the past with details. Additionally, if the company is listed, applicants should provide documentary proof.

The last date for receipt of complete applications is 02-05-2023, and applications received after this date will be rejected.
