Eligibility Criteria for GMDC Recruitment 2023:

• Candidates should have a B.E./B.tech Mining Engineer from a reputed institute, possessing a First-Class Mines Manager’s Certificate (Coal).
• The candidates should have 20+ years of experience in managing Coal Mining Projects.
• The candidates should possess at least 5 years of leadership experience in the development of Coal Mines in India (i.e. from the Greenfield project stage to the production stage).
• The candidates should have work experience and must have demonstrated 10 years of managing open cast coal mining projects with a minimum PRC of 10 MTPA, plus in necessary work streams like land acquisition, R and R and key stakeholder management.
• The candidates should have detailed and practical knowledge of EC and FC processes for the mine opening.
• The candidates must have experience in pursuing necessary permissions, NOCs, and Clearances from respective government departments together with managing third-party consultants.
• The candidates should be well versed in software like Minex, Datamine and MS Projects to work with Public and Private Sector Clients.
• The candidates must have additional qualifications related to Project Management and Finance will be preferred. Experience in Odisha, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh will be an added advantage.

Remuneration for GMDC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of GMDC Recruitment 2023, the monthly consolidated remuneration will be based on the previous/current remuneration.

Tenure for GMDC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of GMDC Recruitment 2023, the contract initially would be for a period of 03 years and may be further extended for a period of 02 years in stages subject to functional requirements, appraisal of the performance and medical fitness of the individual.

Job Location for GMDC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of GMDC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be posted in Burapahar Block, Sundargarh District, Odisha at Jharsuguda, Odisha and Baitarani (West) Block, Angul District, Angul, Odisha. 

Selection Process for GMDC Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of GMDC Recruitment 2023, the Selection Committee will scrutinize the applications and shortlist the candidates based on merits. The short-listed candidates will be called for an Interview (TA will be given as applicable to GMDC’s employees) or be interviewed through Video Conferencing as decided by GMDC Ltd. The decision of the competent authority on the selection of candidates will be final and no correspondence on this subject will be entertained.
