In accordance with the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, there are 07 openings to be filled for the post of Chief General Manager/General Manager (Civil), Additional General Manager (Design), Deputy General Manager (Rolling Stock), Deputy General Manager (E and M), Manager (Signalling) and Assistant Manager (Operations).

Age Limit for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for the specified posts is mentioned below-

Chief General Manager/General Manager (Civil)-

• Candidates should be age of 55 Years on a Contract basis.
• Candidates should be the age of 58 years for deputation.
• Candidates should be age of 62 years on a Post superannuation basis.

Additional General Manager (Design)-

• Candidates should be age of 53 Years on a Contract basis.
• Candidates should be the age of 58 years for deputation.
• Candidates should be age of 62 years on a Post superannuation basis.

Deputy General Manager (Rolling Stock) and Deputy General Manager (E and M)-

• Candidates should be the age of 45 Years.

Manager (Signalling)-

• Candidates should be the age of 40 Years.

Assistant Manager (Operations)-

• Candidates should be aged 32 Years.

Salary for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary up to Rs.280000.

Qualification and Experience for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, the required qualification and experience are mentioned below-

For Chief General Manager/General Manager (Civil)-

• Candidate must be B.E./ B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/Institute
• Candidate should have a minimum of 20 years of Post Qualification experience at the Executive level in a reputed private organization of Civil Construction of major bridges, railways, underground, rail tracks etc or 18 years Post Qualification experience at the Executive level in Government / PSU.

For Additional General Manager (Design)-

• Candidate must be a B.E /B. Tech Civil engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute and M.E./M. Tech. in Structural/design Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/Institute is desirable.
• Applicants should have a minimum of 18 years of Post Qualification experience at the executive level in a reputed private organization OR 15 years of post-qualification experience at the executive level in Government/PSU.

For Deputy General Manager (Rolling Stock)-

• Candidate must be a B.E /B. Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics / Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
• Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of Post Qualification experience at the Executive Level in a reputed private organization OR 08 years of post-qualification experience at the Executive level in the Government / PSU.

For Deputy General Manager (E and M)-

• Candidate must be a B.E /B. Tech (Electrical/ Mechanical /Electrical and Electronics / Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
• Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of Post Qualification experience at the Executive Level in a reputed private organization OR 08 years of post-qualification experience at the Executive level in Government / PSU.

For Manager (Signalling)-

• Candidate must be a B.E /B. Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/Electronics and Communications/Applied Electronics/ Industrial Electronics/ Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
• Applicants should have a minimum of 9 years of Post Qualification experience at the Executive Level in a reputed private organization OR 07 years of experience at the Executive level in Government / PSU.

For Assistant Manager (Operations)-

• Candidate must be B.E. /B. Tech in Electrical/Mechanical or Equivalent engineering from a Government recognized University/Institute.
• Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of Post Qualification experience in a reputed private organization or Candidate should have 05 years of experience in PSU/Metro Corporation.

Tenure for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, the appointment is made up on a contract basis for a minimum period of 03 years to 05 years on an extendable basis.
