The Ministry of Finance has announced that sections 10 to 13 of the Banking Laws (Amendment) Act, 2025 will come into effect from November 1, 2025.

Government to Enforce Banking Law Amendments from November 1, 2025
The Ministry of Finance (Department of Financial Service) recently shared a notification on October 22, 2025 related to the Banking Laws (Amendment) Act, 2025.
In powers given by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Banking Laws (Amendment) Act, 2025 (16), the Central Government is all set to implement the Provisions of sections 10, 11, 12 and 13 of the Banking Laws (Amendment) Act, 2025.
Note: These provisions will come into effect from November 1, 2025.
