GPSC Recruitment 2023: The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has extended the Last date for Online Applications in respect of the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs); i.e., Locomotor Disability hampered persons for recruitment on Deputy Section Officer/Deputy Mamlatdar (Class-3) Posts in the Gujarat Secretariat and Gujarat Public Service Commission respectively based on the GPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement 42/2023-24 revised on 02.08.2023. The GPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, there are 127 vacancies to be filled up under the Pay Matrix Level 07 Rs.39900-126600. Locomotor Disability (LD) includes the persons having Spinal Deformity (SD) Spinal Injury (SI). Based on the GPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the physically challenged candidates with interest in the GPSC Deputy Section Officer/Deputy Mamlatdar (Class-3) Posts may complete the Online application process within the timeline 10.08.2023.

The Monthly Pay Scale vide GPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice applicable to the candidates as Deputy Section Officer/Deputy Mamlatdar (Class-3) post-selection shall remain as explained hereunder:
Pay Matrix Level 7 (Rs.39900-126600) (According to 7th Pay Commission)
Monthly Take-Home Pay: Fixed Pay for 05 years: Rs.38090 (Rupees Thirty-Eight Thousand & Ninety) only.
According to the GPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Age Limits stipulated for General Merit Candidates as on 31.07.2023 is mentioned here below:
i) Un-reserved Category: Minimum 20 Years and Maximum 35 Years
ii) Relaxations in the Upper age limits for Reserved community candidates as per Government Rules.
iii) Relaxation of 10 years for Divyang candidates.
The Eligibility comprising Educational Qualification and Desirable Qualification vide the GPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement may be read as follows:
Education Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree from any University/Equivalent Educational Institution duly recognized or declared to be a Deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or in possession an Equivalent Qualification recognized by the Government;
Any Candidate who has appeared or intends to appear or is awaiting the Result of the Final Semester/Year of the required Qualification is eligible to apply, but the candidate has to qualify and submit the required qualification as advertised before the last date of submitting the application for the Mains Examination. Any Candidate failing to furnish/submit/produce the proof of passing the Bachelor’s Degree Examination shall not be eligible for admission into the Mains Examination.
ii) The Basic Knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967; and
iii) Adequate Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both.
Based on the GPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Selection Procedure for Deputy Section Officer/Deputy Mamlatdar (Class-3) consists of 02 Phases explained hereunder:
i) Phase I: OMR Response-Sheet based Preliminary Test: 02-Hours Duration Single Paper for Rs. 100 Marks
ii) Phase II: Mains Examination: 400 Marks (04 Papers)
iii) Merit List
The Gujarat Public Service Commission shall conduct Preliminary Test and Main Examinations to draw up/prepare a Common Merit List for Final Selection to the notified Posts. The candidates declared having qualified the Preliminary Test will be intimated for appearing in the Main Examination for 400 Marks. In order to be considered Eligible for the Selection purpose, the Minimum Qualifying Marks to be obtained in each Paper are 50 Marks.
Gujarat Public Service Commission shall prepare a Common Merit List by reckoning the Candidate’s Marks obtained in the Main Examination.
Examination Fee for GPSC Recruitment 2023:
As per the GPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Online Application Process involves Registration, the Examination Fee Remittance, uploading Scanned Photocopies of all Documents in a PDF File and the prescribed Examination Fee.
