(GRSE), Kolkata, Ministry of Defence (Government of India) has sought Applications from Committed, Energetic, Experienced, and Result-oriented Persons for the Posts; Design Assistant and Security Supervisors on Permanent Employment and Fixed-Term Employment Bases.

Employment Opportunity: Permanent Employment and Fixed-Term Employment (Contractual Engagement for 05 Years in 02 streak); i.e., Initially for 03 Years with Further Extendable for another 02 Years’ Term.

Post Nomenclatures: Design Assistant (Permanent Employment) and Supervisor (Fixed-Term Employment)

Age Limits: 32 Years, 38 Years, 28 Years respectively

A) Permanent Employment:

01) Design Assistant (S-2 Grade) (09 Vacancies)

i) Under Hull and Hull Outfit/Forward Design Group; ii) Electrical and iii) Information Technology (IT)

Pay Scale: Rs. 25700 – 3% to Rs. 90000

Age Limit: Maximum 32 Years

Educational Qualification:

i) Under Hull and Hull Outfit/Forward Design Group: Diploma in Civil Engineering/Computer Science or Equivalent thereof;

Post-Qualification Experience: 03-Years’ Post-Qualification Experience in Relevant Trade

ii) Electrical Stream: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent thereof;

Post-Qualification Experience: 03-Years’ Post-Qualification Experience in Relevant Trade

iii) Information Technology (IT) Stream: Diploma in Computer Science and Technology/Information Technology or Equivalent thereof;

Post-Qualification Experience: 03-Years’ Post-Qualification Experience in Relevant Trade

B) Fixed-Term Employment:

Supervisor under Mechanical, Electrical Branches/ Hull and Hull Outfit Group

Appointment: Initially for 03 Years, Further Extendable for 02 Years, i.e., Maximum 05 Years for Both Supervisor Posts.

1) Supervisor (S-4 Grade): (12 Vacancies)

Pay Scale: Rs. 29300 – 3% to Rs. 102600

Age Limit: Maximum 38 Years

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent thereof.

Post-Qualification Experience: 07-Years’ Post-Qualification Experience in Relevant Trade

2) Supervisor (S-4 Grade)

Pay Scale: Rs. 29300 – 3% to Rs. 102600

Age Limit: Maximum 38 Years

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent thereof.

Post-Qualification Experience: 07-Years’ Post-Qualification Experience in Relevant Trade

3) Supervisor (S-4 Grade) under Hull and Hull Outfit Group

Pay Scale: Rs. 29300 – 3% to Rs. 102600

Age Limit: Maximum 38 Years

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering/Naval Architecture/Shipbuilding/Shipwright or Equivalent thereof Or B.Sc. (Shipbuilding and Repair).

Post-Qualification Experience: 07-Years’ Post-Qualification Experience in Relevant Trade

02) Supervisor (S-1 Grade): (03 Vacancies) under Security Division

Pay Scale: Rs. 23800 – 3% to Rs. 83300

Age Limit: Maximum 28 Years

Educational Qualification:

i) Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline with Minimum 01 Year’s Diploma in Security Management or Equivalent thereof.

ii) Bachelor’s Degree with Minimum 60% Marks (General)/(55% Marks for OBC/SC in any Discipline with Minimum 01 Year’s Diploma in Security Management or Equivalent thereof.

Post-Qualification Experience: 07-Years’ Post-Qualification Experience in Relevant Trade

For Defence Services/Para-Military Forces/State Police Forces Personnel with Minimum 15 Years’ Services/Diploma in Security Management Exempted
