Monthly Salary under GSL Recruitment 2023:

According to the GSL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Monthly Salary shall accrue to the Selected Personnel into all 21 Positions as narrated hereunder:

1st and 2nd Posts: Rs.90000-3%-240000 (E-6)

3rd Post: Rs.80000-3%-220000 (E-5)

4th, 5th, 7th and 8th Posts: Rs.70000-3%-200000 (E-4)

6th and 11th Posts: Rs.50000-3%-160000(E-2)

9th and 10th Posts: Rs.60000-3%-180000 (E-3)

12th to 21st Posts: Rs.40000-3%-140000(E-1)

Age Limits under GSL Recruitment 2023:

Based on the GSL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification the Upper Age Limits have been stipulated for Reserved Community. The Un-Reserved Category Candidates Applicants for the Posts as on 31.03.2023 should be aged as has been narrated hereunder:

General Category Candidates should be aged Post-wise:

1st Post: 48 Years

1st and 2nd Posts (OBC): 51 Years

3rd Post: 44 Years

4th, 7th and 8th Posts: 39 Years

5th Post: 42 Years

6th Post: 33 Years

12th – 21 Posts: 30 Years

The Upper Age Limits prescribed for Reserved Community Candidates are as per the Government of India/ Central Government Rules.

Eligibility under GSL Recruitment 2023:

Note: Post-Specific Eligibility Criteria comprising Educational Qualification, Experience, Desirable Educational Qualification and Experience have been narrated in the Appended GSL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification:

Educational Qualifications: Master’s Degree/Post Graduation in the relevant Branch of Studies, Bachelor/Graduation in the relevant Branch of Studies, Diploma/Certificate Course in the Relevant Fields.

Desirable Qualifications: Master’s Degree/Post Graduation in the relevant Branch of Studies, Bachelor/Graduation in the relevant Branch of Studies, Diploma/Certificate Course in the Relevant Fields according to the Relevant Criteria

Desirable Experience: Varying Experience according to the Posts required should be narrated as Minimum 01 Year and Maximum 10 Years.

Selection Criteria under GSL Recruitment 2023:

The Selection Criteria specific to the Fixed-Term Employment Basis and Fixed-Term Basis Posts have been explained in the Appended GSL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.

I) 1st to 6th Posts are on a Regular Basis.

II) 7th to 21st Posts are Purely Temporary and on Fixed-Term Contractual Basis to remain initially for 03 Years’ Period. The Fixed-Term Contractual Basis may further be extended for Maximum up to 02 Years depending upon the Requirement of the Organisation and the Performance of the Incumbent.

Based on the Requirement and Availability of the Vacancies, the Fixed Term Employees recruited against this GSL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification are likely to be considered for Absorption as per the prevalent Recruitment Rules/Provision of the Goa Shipyard Limited in this regards.

Application Fee for GSL Recruitment 2023:

As per the GSL Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Application Fee prescribed with Remittance Mode should be as explained hereunder:

• General Category Candidates to remit Online the Application Fee through the SBI E-Pay (by Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking, etc.).
• Reserved Community (SC/ST/PwBDs) Candidates and Ex-Service-Men are Exempted from Application Fee Remittance, as per the Government of India Rules.
• Internal Candidates remain Exempted from Remittance of the Application Fee.
