According to the official notification of Gujarat Metro Rail Recruitment 2023, the required qualification and experience are mentioned below-

For Additional General Manager (E&M)-

• Candidate must be a B.E /B. Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics / Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.

Experience-

• Applicants should have a minimum of 18 years of Post Qualification experience at the executive level in a reputed private organization OR 15 years of post-qualification experience at the executive level in Government/PSU.
• Candidate should have at least 2 years experience in IDA pay scale 90000-240000 or higher payscale or equivalent CDA pay scale.
• Candidates should have relevant post-qualification experience in planning, preparation of technical specifications, administration of contracts, installation, testing, commissioning and statutory approvals of electric systems in Railway Systems / Metro/LRT/ Suburban Rail.
• Candidates having experience in the private sector should be working with reputed private organizations drawing a salary (CTC) of a minimum of Rs. 1,80,000/- per month (approximately).
  Candidates with experience of working in modern urban metro rail systems will be given preference.

For Sr. DGM/ DGM (Telecom/AFC)-

• Candidate must be a B.E /B. Tech (Electronics & Communications/Electrical & Electronics/ Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
• Candidate should have relevant experience in design/specifications, planning, administration of contracts, installation, testing and commissioning of Telecom/AFC System works in Railway Systems / Metro/LRT/ Sub-urban Rail.

Experience for Sr. DGM (Telecom/AFC)-

• Applicants should have a minimum of 15 years of post-qualification executive level experience OR 13 years Post Qualification experience of executive level in Government / PSU’s.
• Candidate should have at least 2 years experience in IDA pay scale of ₹ 70000-200000 or higher pay scales or equivalent CDA pay scale. Candidates having experience in the private sector should be working with reputed private organizations drawing a salary (CTC) of a minimum of Rs. 1,20,000/- per month (approximately).

Experience for DGM (Telecom/AFC)-

• Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience at the executive level in a reputed private organization OR 8 years Post Qualification experience of the executive in Government / PSU.
• Should have at least 2 years experience in IDA pay scale of 60000- 180000 or higher pay scales or equivalent CDA pay scale. Candidates having experience in the private sector should be working with reputed private organizations drawing a salary (CTC) of a minimum of Rs. 1,00,000 per month (approximately) for the DGM level.
• Candidates with experience of working in modern urban metro rail systems will be given preference.

For Rail cum Road Vehicle Operator-

• Candidate must be Matriculate/SSC Pass and must have a valid heavy-duty license having a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in driving Rail cum Road Vehicle or Heavy Duty Vehicle.

As mentioned in the official notification of Gujarat Metro Rail Recruitment 2023, the appointment is made up on a contract basis for a minimum period of 03 years to 05 years on an extendable basis.
