HCL Recruitment 2023: HCL, a leading mining and metal public sector undertaking (PSU) in India, has announced a recruitment drive for filling multiple positions across different grades and disciplines. Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) is looking for committed, result-oriented, and experienced professionals in the mining and metal sector. HCL invites employees to hold a permanent position in Mining, Engineering Services, Survey, Human Resources, Finance, Materials & Contracts, Company Secretary, and Law. As given in the official notification of HCL Recruitment 2023, there are 28 vacancies for this post. In accordance with the official notification of HCL Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit is 40 years and the maximum age limit is 56 years.

According to the official notification of HCL Recruitment 2023, Selected applicants will get a monthly salary between Rs.50000 to Rs.300000. Candidates should have at least 03 years of working experience in the relevant field. As per the official notification of HCL Recruitment 2023, Selection shall be made based on the performance of the candidate in the Personal Interview. Age Limit for HCL Recruitment 2023:

As per HCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the maximum age limit grade-wise is mentioned below.

For E-9 the maximum age limit is 56 years.
For E-8 the maximum age limit is 55 years.
For E-7 the maximum age limit is 54 years.
For E-6 the maximum age limit is 52 years.
For E-2 the maximum age limit is 40 years.

Qualification for HCL Recruitment 2023:

As per HCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, Cadre / Discipline wise minimum essential qualification for the posts in the E9, E8, E7, E6, and E-2 Grades is as under

Mining

Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering with First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency.

Engineering Services

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology (Mechanical / Mining Machinery / Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation / Electronic & Telecommunication / Civil / Architecture / Ceramic).

Survey

Bachelor’s Degree in Mining / Civil Engineering with Surveyor Certificate of Competency or M. Tech (Geomatics).

Human Resources

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts / Commerce / Science / Engineering / Professional Studies [BBA / BCA etc.] with MBA with a specialization in Personnel Management or Post-Graduate Degree / Diploma in Personnel Management / Social Work as acceptable under various Labour Legislation for working in Welfare Officer

Finance

Passed Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / UK or of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India / UK or MBA (Finance)

Materials & Contracts

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts / Science / Commerce / Engineering with Post-Graduate Degree / Diploma in Materials Management or MBA with specialization in Materials Management.

Company Secretary

Passed Final Examination of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India / UK.

Law

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts / Commerce / Science / Engineering / Professional Studies [BBA / BCA etc.] with Bachelor’s Degree in Law including five years integrated BA / B.Sc. / B. Com. / BBA LLB.

Experience for HCL Recruitment 2023:

As per HCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the cadre / Discipline wise Preferable Experience nature for posts in E5-E9 Grade would be as under:

Mining

Experience of 5 years in underground mining. Sound Competency in underground project management /
execution including various regulatory compliances for the execution of underground mining projects

Engineering Services

Experience of 5 years in projects, and expansion schemes including feasibility studies, techno-economical evaluation, planning and implementation of the projects, and CAPEX. He will also be responsible for all the technical and engineering services required for the satisfactory performance of the various Units of the
Company and having experience in preparing Contracts and their Implementation

Survey

Experience of 5 years of working in the field of Mine Survey, fully conversant with modern mine survey equipment like DGPS, Total Station Instrument, etc. for accurate survey and leveling. Preparation and Maintenance of Mine Plans, Sections, Tracing and Statutory requirements and submission of Statutory Reports, etc.

Human Resources

05 years of experience to deal with all contract Labour matters in a Project / Unit having a large number of
Contract Labourers. 05 years of experience in dealing with all compliance including Labour Laws

Finance

Experience of 5 years of Finalization of Accounts, Cost Accounting, Budgeting, MIS, Mergers and acquisitions, Banking, Fund Management, Taxation, Audits, Concurrence of Proposals, etc.

Materials & Contracts

The candidate has 5 years of experience in a Senior Managerial position in a large reputed Organization. The candidate has adequate and in-depth knowledge in materials planning, inventory control, vendor analysis
and development, supply chain & logistics management, and working experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) will be preferred.

Conversant with E-Tendering (GeM, CPPP) preferably in Mining/Metal Industry.

Company Secretary

5 years experience in the listed company working as a Company Secretary. Knowledge of matters pertaining to Institutional Finance, Company Law, Corporate and Secretarial functions, and well-versed with the provisions and regulations of the Companies Act and SEBI Rules & Regulations.

Law

Candidate has 5 years of experience in appearing/attending and conducting/handling cases matters of different natures before various courts, tribunals, quasi-judicial bodies, and other forums.

Knowledge of all applicable rules, laws, regulations, etc

Salary for HCL Recruitment 2023:

As per HCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, grade-wise salaries are given below.

For E-9 applicants will get a salary between Rs.150000 to Rs.300000
For E-8 applicants will get compensation between Rs.120000 to Rs.280000
For E-7 applicants will get compensation between Rs.100000 to Rs.260000
For E-6 applicants will get compensation between Rs.90000 to Rs.240000
For E-2 applicants will get compensation between Rs.50000 to Rs.160000

Selection Process for HCL Recruitment 2023:

As per HCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, selection shall be based on the candidate’s performance in the Personal Interview.

Candidates shall be shortlisted for Personal Interviews (PI) in the ratio of 1:5 subject to a minimum of 10 or as per the decision of the HCL.

Shortlisting Criteria:

For every completed year of relevant experience beyond the minimum requirement: 1 Mark
For every additional degree over the minimum essential qualification, only in the relevant cadre/discipline: 1 mark subject to a maximum of 2 Marks.
In case of tie-in shortlisting of candidates during scrutiny, to maintain the limit of the zone of consideration, HCL Rule in this regard shall be applied.
