However, age relaxation is applicable as per government instructions. Candidates belonging to the OBC category will get a relaxation of three years, and candidates of the SC/ST category will get a relaxation of five years. Candidates belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category will get a relaxation of 10 years (additional five years in the case of PwD candidates belonging to SC, ST, and three years for OBC).
Ex-servicemen who have rendered not less than six months of continuous service after attestation in the Armed forces shall be allowed to deduct the full period of such service from their actual age.
