Selection Procedure under High Court of Punjab and Haryana Recruitment 2023:

The Controller of Examinations shall conduct a Computer-Based Test for Maximum 60 Marks aimed at shortlisting the Candidates for a Stenography Test involving Transcription. The Candidates shortlisted in the Computer-Based Test shall be subjected to the Stenography Test; i.e., Shorthand and Spreadsheet Tests. The Candidates will have to qualify the Stenography Test followed by the Spreadsheet Test for 10 Marks.

Select List of the Qualified Candidates will be prepared strictly on the basis of Merit in the English Shorthand and Transcription Test only. Names of Eligible Candidate(s) Higher in Merit (i.e., those committing Lesser Mistakes) would be recommended for Appointment as per the number of Vacancies to be filled up.

TIE Resolving Methodology: In case Two or more Candidates have committed Equal Mistakes, then the Candidate Elder in Age among the Same Scorers be kept Higher in Merit. Still further, in case, any such even scoring Candidates are having the same Birth Date, then they be placed Alphabetically (A-Z) in the concerned Merit List.
