As per the official notification of HPSC Recruitment 2023, applications are invited for the post of Assistant Geologist (Group- B) in the Mines and Geology Department. There are only 02 vacancies for the unreserved category.

Age Limit for HPSC Recruitment 2023:

As given in the notification of HPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 42 years as of the closing date of application.

• Relaxation in the maximum age to the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/BC-A/BC-B/EWS & ESM categories candidates of Haryana shall be admissible only where the posts are reserved for these categories.
• The upper age limit for an applicant of any category (except Ex-serviceman) shall not exceed 52 years who is entitled to avail the benefit of relaxation in the age of one or more of the categories mentioned above.

Salary for HPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of HPSC Recruitment 2023, candidates will be given a remuneration of Rs. 53100 per month.

Eligibility Criteria for HPSC Recruitment 2023:

For HPSC Recruitment 2023, a candidate must be either-

1- A citizen of India or

2- A subject of Nepal or

3- A subject of Bhutan or

4- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1″January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

5- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/her by the Government of India.

Qualification for HPSC Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for HPSC recruitment 2023, must have the given below qualifications-

1- M.Sc. (Geology) or M.Sc. (Applied Geology) or M.Tech. (Geology) or M.Tech. (Applied Geology) or equivalent qualification obtained after B.Sc. (Geology) OR

Post Graduate Degree in Geology/Applied Geology that is awarded after a five years integrated course from recognized a university or equivalent qualifications as specified by the Government at the time of recruitment; and

2- Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.

Application fee for HPSC Recruitment 2023:

The application fee is different for every category which is given below-

For Male candidates of the General category including the Dependent Son of an Ex-Serviceman of Haryana and For Male candidates of General and all reserved categories of other States- Rs. 1000

For all Female candidates of the General category including Female Dependent of ESM of Haryana only and For Female candidates of General and all reserved categories of other States- Rs. 250

For Male & Female candidates of SC/BC-A/BC-B/ ESM categories of Haryana only and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)- Rs. 250

How to Apply for HPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of HPSC Recruitment 2023 notification, interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of HPSC. The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit card well before the commencement of the Recruitment/written Test if any. The e-AdmitCard will be available on the official website of HPSC.

The online application form will be available from 8th February 2023.
