IBPS PO Mains Admit Card 2022 OUT: Check Exam Date, Pattern, Syllabus, Strategy
The Institute of Banking & Personnel Selection (IBPS) will be releasing the IBPS PO Mains Admit Card 2022 by 3rd week of November 2022. The IBPS PO Mains Admit Card 2022 will be issued only to the candidates who have qualified in IBPS PO 2022 Prelims Exam. IBPS PO Mains Admit Card/Call Letter can be downloaded by entering the registration number and date of birth. The IBPS PO Admit Card download link will be available at the official website of the Institute of Banking & Personnel Selection. The candidates are supposed to carry a hard copy of their IBPS PO Mains Admit Card to the exam center else their entry would be restricted.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is going to conduct IBPS PO 2022 Mains Exam on the 26th of November 2022 to recruit 8432 Probationary Officers and the link for IBPS PO Mains Admit Card will be activated on the official website. The candidates who are going to appear for the mains exam must download their IBPS PO Mains Call Letter much before the exam date and check their venue, exam date, reporting time, shift timings, and other details provided in the IBPS PO Mains Admit Card.

2. Click on “CRP-PO/MT>>Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officer/Management Trainee-XII”.
3. A new page appears, search for “Click here to download Mains Call Letter for IBPS PO-XII”
4. Enter your Registration No / Roll No and Password / DOB to download your admit card for IBPS PO 2022 exam.
5. The admit card will be displayed on the screen. Download your IBPS PO Mains Admit Card 2022.
6. Save the IBPS PO Prelims Call Letter and take a printout for future reference.
Preparation Strategy to Score 100+ in IBPS PO Mains Exam 2022, Check Complete PO Exam Strategy
This is the 2nd Stage of the IBPS Exam. The candidates who will qualify for the Prelims of the IBPS PO Exam will be eligible to appear for the IBPS PO Mains Exam 2022.
1. There will be four sections for the IBPS PO Mains Exam and an additional section for the English Language which will be taken separately on the same date as the exam.
2. The IBPS PO Mains Exam will have a total of 200 MCQs of a total duration of 3 Hours.
3. There will be separate timing for each section as it was in the IBPS PO Prelims Exam.
4. The candidates will have to pass separately in each test/section.
IBPS has included the descriptive test of 25 Marks in the PO Mains Exam. The candidates will have to write an essay and a letter of 25 marks. The English Language Paper is to assess the candidates’ writing skills and it is compulsory to pass this paper by securing a minimum cut-off.
The candidates who secure a minimum cut-off will be eligible to appear for the IBPS PO Mains Exam. The syllabus for the IBPS PO Mains Exam is given below for the following sections:

Do not forget to practice some miscellaneous topics like Blood Relations and Directions based questions since they are easy and less time taking. Use the 50 minutes time constraint and practice the questions within this time frame.

As already mentioned, 40 questions will be asked about this topic and you will be given 30 minutes to complete this section. Considering the level of the English section of the Preliminary Exam, we suggest you all be very well prepared for this section. Try to attempt the Reading Comprehension questions after you finish these topics. Keep the following things in mind while solving RC –
First, try to go through the questions and then through the passage. It will help you mark out the answers easily.
RC passages are likely to be based on topics like Banking & Economy, Social Issues, Business, Science and Technology, etc.
Although the questions will be directly based on the content of the passage, make sure that you go through all the options provided for an answer since they are usually confusing.
Try to develop the habit of reading at least 2 – 3 articles daily. This will help you go through the passage quickly and help you understand the passage better in the exam.
A very common question that is asked in the passages is the central theme of the passage. If you properly go through the first 2 – 3 lines of the passage, you would get an idea of the gist of the passage and answer this question correctly.

If we consider the previous year’s mains exam, 4 DI sets i.e. 20 questions were asked from Data Interpretation. Apart from this, questions were also asked about Number Series, Data Sufficiency, and other miscellaneous topics. So, a thorough practice of Data Interpretation especially the ratio and average-based questions since they are usually doable is a must. This section will consist of 40 questions with a total of 20 minutes to complete it. Questions will be asked mainly about current affairs & Banking Awareness topics. This section may also include questions on books & authors, Currencies, Important Places, Awards, Headquarters, Prime Minister’s Schemes, Important Days, etc. It would be advisable to go through the GK updates of at least the last 2 – 3 months.
Do not forget to prepare for the static GK part as well, especially the countries, their capitals, and currencies (Try to focus especially on the countries that have been in news lately, for instance, the countries visited by our Prime Minister or President or with whom any major MoU has been signed). Make sure you revise everything you prepare for this section regularly.
