SSC CGL Tier 1 Syllabus:

SSC CGL exam is conducted to recruit graduates for various Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts in the Central Government departments. The SSC CGL Tier 1 syllabus constitutes 4 sections, i.e., Reasoning, General awareness, English, and Quantitative aptitude. The complete SSC CGL Tier 1 syllabus 2022 is discussed below. Along with the Tier 1 Syllabus, we have also provided the subject-wise weightage for some topics.

SSC CGL Maths Syllabus Tier 1:

There are a lot of topics from basic and advanced mathematics that are covered in the Quantitative aptitude section of the SSC CGL syllabus. 1-2 questions from each topic might be asked in the exam. In total, there are 25 questions that carry 50 marks in total. Four options are given with each question, out of which candidates have to mark 1 correct answer.

The questions in this section of SSC CGL Syllabus are designed to test the ability of appropriately use of numbers. The scope of quantitative ability is clearly defined and is limited to class 10th-level mathematics. You can score good marks if you have a good command of this section. All you need to do is attempt the questions with good accuracy because there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Syllabus for Reasoning:

SSC CGL Reasoning syllabus includes both verbal and non-verbal reasoning. In this section, there are a total of 25 questions carrying 50 marks in total. Get all the information about the tier 1 SSC CGL syllabus for reasoning in the table mentioned below. 1-3 questions of each topic might be asked in the exam, so each of the following topics is important.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Syllabus English:

Important Tip: English Section gets mixed responses from candidates depending on their educational background and preparation. For some, this is an easy task but for others, the English language SSC CGL syllabus becomes a nightmare and the biggest hurdle in getting a good score in the exam.

SSC CGL Syllabus for General Awareness:

The syllabus of SSC CGL General Awareness is not something you can expect to master in a day but from an exam point of view, if you spend time consistently, you can perform well in relatively less time as compared to Quantitative aptitude. This section is very important because this is the only section that can be attempted quickly i.e. in 7-8 minutes, and at the same time, decent marks can be scored in this section if prepared well. The general awareness SSC CGL syllabus helps candidates in getting a good rank.
