The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially launched the UDIN Mobile Application during the Council Meeting on February 6, 2026.
The app was launched on December 30, 2025. The app allows members to conveniently generate UDINs on both iOS and Android devices.
To properly generate UDIN, ICAI also released a manual for the UDIN Mobile APP. This manual guides members on generating UDINs specifically for audit and assurance assignments under various statutes.
This manual is beneficial for members. It provides clear, step-by-step guidance on all essential processes, including the login procedure, forgot-password functionality, member profile access, UDIN generation for certificates, GST and tax audits, and various audit and assurance assignments.
It’s a complete guide that helps people use the UDIN mobile app correctly and efficiently for all required legal and statutory purposes.
