ICAI Major Breaking: UDIN Portal Migrating to ICAI DigiCA Platform, Know Date and Timing
To provide an improved interface to the members, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is migrating the current UDIN (Unique Document Identification Number) portal to the ICAI DigiCA platform on December 20, 2025.
During the migration process, the UDIN Portal will be temporarily unavailable for around 25 hours starting from midnight on December 19, 2025. This means that the ICAI members will not be able to access the UDIN portal during this migration period. Therefore, the ICAI has advised the members to complete their UDIN-related work before this scheduled time.
The migration aims at providing a better interface and enhanced features based on decisions made by the ICAI Council.
To help members use the new platform, the ICAI has shared that it will release a comprehensive User Manual on the new platform. Additionally, a UDIN Mobile App will be introduced on 30th December for both iOS and Android devices. The app will allow the members to easily access UDIN generation. The members are asked to contact the UDIN Directorate at [email protected] for any queries.
