ICMR Recruitment 2023: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) receives applications from Indian nationals for the post of Research Assistant, Field Investigator, and Consultant-(Scientific NonMedical) on a contractual basis. As per the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2023, the total number of vacancies is three (03). Applicants for the positions listed above must be between 30 and 67 years old. Shortlisted candidates will be granted a monthly remuneration ranging from Rs.31,000 to Rs.70,000.

As per the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2023, candidates will be recruited based on experience and qualifications as mentioned below.
For Research Assistant
A candidate must have a graduate with three years of work experience in Biostatistics/Statistics/Medical Statistics/Anthropology from a recognized university. He or she should have prior expertise in field research, data collecting, statistical analysis, and report writing.
For Field Investigator
A candidate must have a graduate degree in Anthropology/ Social Sciences/ Social Work/ Sociology/ Psychology from a recognized university with three years of work experience. He/she should have experience conducting community-based research studies in rural areas.
For Consultant-(Scientific NonMedical)
A candidate must have a degree of M.Sc, Ph.D. in Applied Biology with Research and development (R&D) experience. He/she must be a retired Government employee M.Sc, Ph.D. qualification in Applied Biology drawing pay in the Pay Band Rs.15600-39100 + Grade pay of Rs.5400/- and above at the time of retirement with at least 20 years experience in the required domain/field.
As per the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2023, an applicant for Research Assistant and Field Investigator positions must be above 30 years old, whereas a Consultant- (Scientific NonMedical) must be at least 67 years old.
As per the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2023, the shortlisted candidates will be granted a monthly remuneration ranging from Rs.31,000 to Rs.70,000.
As per the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2023, selected candidates must sign an agreement of contractual appointment with ICMR-NIIH. The available post is on a contractual basis for the assigned duration. The contract can be terminated by giving no less than one month’s notice on either side without assigning any reason.
