Educational Qualification
The candidate should have completed a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a Government recognized Institute.
The candidate must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.
Certification
The candidate must possess a valid Electrical Supervisory Certificate of Competency of Part-1, Part-2, Part-3 & Part-4 as issued by the Electrical Licensing Board, Govt. of Assam.
Preference will be given to candidates having Part-8 of the Supervisor’s License.
Work Experience
Minimum 02 (two) years post qualification relevant work experience in Government / Semi-Government/PSU/Public Limited Organisations.
Age Limit
Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: General: 35 years, OBC-NCL: 38 years
Eligibility Criteria for Contractual Electrical Technician
Educational Qualification
The candidate should have a Trade certificate in Electrician Trade from a Government recognized Institute.
The candidate must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.
Certification
The candidate must possess a Valid Electrical Workmen Permit for Part (i) & (ii) as issued by the Electrical Licensing Board, Govt. of Assam.
Age Limit
Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: General: 35 years, ST: 40 years, OBC-NCL: 38 years.

As per Oil India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection process for the contractual engagement of Electrical Supervisor and Technician will consist of a Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment. The date and time of registration for both positions are scheduled for 28/04/2023.
The Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment for Electrical Supervisor will be conducted on the same day between 07:00 A.M. to 09:00 A.M. at the Employee Welfare Office, Nehru Maidan, Oil India Limited, Duliajan, Assam. Similarly, for Electrical Technicians, the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment will be conducted on the same day at the same venue, and the time will be communicated to the candidates after the registration process is completed.
As per Oil India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the contractual engagement for both the Contractual Electrical Supervisor and Contractual Electrical Technician will be purely on a contractual basis only. The initial period of the contractual engagement will be for six months only.
The period of the contractual engagement may be extendable after a requisite interval for a subsequent period of six months only depending on the departmental requirement, job performance, conduct, physical fitness, etc., as applicable. The total period of the contractual engagement will be a maximum of 12 months only.
