ICMR Recruitment 2023: The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Consultant (Finance) in ICMR Headquarters, New Delhi. The candidates applying for the mentioned position should be Retired Government employees with a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and in Level-07 and above 15 years of experience in Accounts and Finance. The candidates should have sound knowledge of GFR, Government Pay and Pension Fixation rules, Biomedical Research and Development Proposals, Government Procurement Rules and Internal Audit works, Budgets and Annual Accounts of Autonomous Bodies. The candidates should have knowledge of working on e-file. The candidates applying for the mentioned opportunity should be below 64 years. The selected candidates will get a monthly remuneration as per the company’s guidelines.

According to the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2023, the tenure will be on a contractual basis for a period of 01 year, which may be extended further for an initial period of 01 year as per the requirements of the committee. Beyond 02 years after the age of superannuation where adequate justification exists, the term may be extended based on a review of the task and the performance of the contract appointee. Provided it shall not be extended beyond 05 years after superannuation. The applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of interviews conducted by the committee.
