ICSI issued Clarification w.r.t. amendments in ICSI Unique Document Identification Number (UDIN) Guidelines, 2019 The Institute of Company Secretaries of India issued Clarification regarding amendment in ICSI UDIN Guidelines 2019. In response to the email sent today with the subject line "Amendments to the ICSI Unique Document Identification Number (UDIN) Guidelines, 2019," The modified ICSI (UDIN) Guidelines, 2019 (the guidelines) went into effect on October 1, 2021, but were only disclosed to members today due to technical issues. Because of the challenges in adhering to the standards, the Institute's Competent Authority has permitted the creation of UDIN by members beginning October 7, 2021. In addition, in response to member inquiries, it is hereby stated that the generation of UDIN under the guidelines is only required for e-form MGT-7, and that it is optional for all other e-forms.
