IISER Recruitment 2023: The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal is seeking applications from qualified candidates for a variety of non-teaching positions on a Direct Recruitment basis/ Deputation basis. According to IISER Recruitment 2023 official notification, the vacancies filled through this recruitment drive have a provision for subsequent absorption. IISER Bhopal has released a total of 77 vacancies for this recruitment drive. Some of the posts available through this recruitment are Librarian, Executive Engineer (Civil/Electrical), Technical Assistant (IT), Deputy Registrar, Jr. Office Assistant, and others.
According to the official notification for IISER Recruitment 2023, in case suitable internal candidates are not available for any post then the same may be filled under deputation/ short-term contract from applicants available in the open market. Deputation/short-term candidates will be selected for a period of five years. The hired candidate can receive a salary of up to Pay Scale Level-14. Applicants applying for the posts available on Deputation/Short-term contract basis must be under the age of 56, while the maximum age limit for Direct Recruits varies depending on the position.
As per IISER Recruitment 2023 official notification, eligible and willing candidates must visit the official website of IISER Bhopal to fill out the online application form. According to IISER Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for the posts available on a Deputation/ Short-term contract basis should be below the age of 56 years as of the application closing date. The maximum age limit for posts available under the Direct Recruitment basis varies as per the position. The age limit for some of the posts available on direct recruitment basis is given below:
Deputy Registrar: The maximum age limit for candidates applying for this post is 50 years.
Sports Officer: The maximum age limit is 40 years.
Medical Officer: The maximum age limit is 40 years.
Physical Education Instructor: The maximum age limit is 38 years.
Superintendent: The maximum age limit is 35 years.

Based on the details mentioned in the official notification for IISER Recruitment 2023, the qualifications required for different posts vary as per their requirements. Qualifications required for some of the posts are mentioned below:
Librarian: Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks. Candidates should also have obtained a P.hD. degree in the same domain.
Executive Engineer (Civil/Electrical): Candidates must have a first-class Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. Candidates having CAD or any latest similar software knowledge will be preferred.
Deputy Registrar: Candidates having a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks. Candidates having qualifications in the area of management, engineering, or law are desired. Candidates with CA/ Cost Accountant / PG Diploma in Management / HR / Finance/Materials/Computer Applications etc., are preferred.

As per the details provided in IISER Recruitment 2023 official notification, the experience required for various posts varies. The essential experience needed for some of the posts is discussed below:
Librarian: Candidates should possess at least 10 years of experience as Dy. Librarian (Acad. Pay Level-12, including a minimum of 3 years of experience in Acad. Pay Level-13A) in the Library of any reputed Technical University.
Executive Engineer (Civil/Electrical): Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience at the level of Assistant Engineer or equivalent position in Pay Level -7 or above OR Candidates should hold 5 years of experience as Assistant Executive Engineer or equivalent position in Pay Level-10 or above in a reputed organization dealing in construction of building projects as per Govt. / CPWD norms.
Deputy Registrar: Candidates possessing at least 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar in Pay Level 10 (Prerevised PB-3: GP 5400) or equivalent post in a reputed Government Research Establishments/University / Statutory Organization / Government Organization.

As mentioned in the official notification for IISER Recruitment 2023, the hired candidates will be paid up to Pay Scale Level 14. The salary receivable under some of the posts is mentioned below:
Librarian: The candidate selected for this position will receive a monthly salary as per Pay Level-14.
Executive Engineer (Civil/Electrical): Candidates will receive a monthly salary as per Pay Level-11.
Technical Assistant (IT): Candidates will receive a monthly salary as per Pay Level-6.
Deputy Registrar: Candidates will receive a monthly salary as per Pay Level-12.
Jr. Office Assistant: Candidates will receive a monthly salary as per Pay Level-4.

According to IISER Recruitment 2023 official notification, all candidates will have to go through a screening process. Suitable candidates will be screened based on their educational qualifications and experience. After that, candidates applying for the Group A positions will be hired based on their performance in the personal interview only. Candidates applying for Posts other than Group A will be required to appear for a computer-based descriptive/objective screening test (CBT). It will be used only for screening criteria. The final selection for these posts will also be made on the basis of an interview conducted after the CBT.
