Qualification and Experience for IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024:

Candidates must have the required qualifications and experience for applying to IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024 as described below-

• The candidate should have Ph.D. with first class in the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record.

Experience-

For Professor-

• The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution/institutions of comparable standards.

For Associate Professor-

• The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor Gr. I, Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer.

For Assistant Professor Gr I –

• The candidate should have at least 3 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, excluding, however, the experience gained while pursuing a Ph.D.

For Assistant Professor Gr II –

• The candidate should have a Ph.D. without adequate experience.

Salary for IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024:

The chosen candidates for IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024 will be given a monthly salary as per GOI rules.
