Pay Matrix Level under IIT Recruitment 2023:

According to the IIT Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, 07 Vacancies to be filled up with the Posts are explained hereunder:

01: Deputy Registrar: Pay Matrix Level 12

02: Senior Medical Officer: Pay Matrix Level 11

03: Senior Security Officer: Pay Matrix Level 10

04: Junior Engineer: Pay Matrix Level 06

Age Limits under IIT Recruitment 2023:

As has been notified in the IIT Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limits for different Posts are hereunder:

01: Deputy Registrar: 45 Years

02: Senior Medical Officer: 40 Years

03: Senior Security Officer: 55 Years

04: Junior Engineer: 30 Years

Note: There is No Upper Age Limit for Regular Employees of IIT Guwahati)

Eligibility Criteria under IIT Recruitment 2023:

According to the IIT Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Eligibility for all Posts are hereunder:

01: Deputy Registrar:

Educational and Other Qualifications:

1) A Post-Graduate Degree with Minimum 55% Marks Or its Equivalent Grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 07 Point Scale;

2) 09-Years’ Experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000 and above with Experience in Educational Administration or Comparable Experience in Research Establishment and/or other Institutions of Higher Education or 05 Years’ Administrative Experience as Assistant Registrar or in an Equivalent Post carrying a Pay Scale Level 10/Qualifications and Experience as prescribed by the University Grants Commission/Ministry of Education from time to time.

02: Senior Medical Officer:

Educational & Other Qualifications: Medicinae Doctor (MD) preferably in General Medicine with 03 Years Experience Or MBBS with 07 Years’ Experience, as a Medical Officer in a Reputed Hospital.

03: Senior Security Officer:

Educational & Other Qualifications: Commissioned Officer of Military/Para-Military Services Or Deputy Superintendent Or Assistant Commandant of Police/Security Force having a Bachelor’s Degree from any Accredited University with Minimum 10 Years’ Experience in the Police/Security Services.

04: Junior Engineer:

Educational & Other Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering Or Equivalent; Or Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering with 03 Years’ Experience.

Selection Criteria under IIT Recruitment 2023:

The Applicant will be shortlisted for Interview/Written Test/Skill Test as well as Document Verification As Applicable to the Posts. The IIT Screening Committee may decide the Screening Mode and Testing the Applicants for shortlisting and Selection.

Application Fee for IIT Recruitment 2023:

According to the IIT Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Candidates Applicants for the Opted Posts should remit the Application Fee through the Payment Gateways as hereunder:

For the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Posts:

i) General Merit Candidates: Rs.500 (Rupees Five Hundred) only

ii) EWS/OBC Candidates: Rs.500 (Rupees Five Hundred) only

iii) SCs/STs/PwBD Candidates Rs. 250 (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty) only

For 4th Post:

i) General Merit Candidates: Rs.300 (Rupees Three Hundred) only

ii) EWS/OBC Candidates: Rs.300 (Rupees Three Hundred) only

iii) SCs/STs/PwBD Candidates Rs. 150 (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty) only
