Income Tax Department’s Appeal for Public Cooperation Against Black Money in Elections
The Income Tax Department has recently shared a notice regarding an appeal to the public of Maharashtra to support income tax department to stop the use of black money during the election.
The Government has appealed to the general public of Western and Northwestern Maharashtra to support the Income Tax Department in stopping the use of black money during the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Elections 2025-26. People are requested to freely share any reliable information they may have about the use of black money, such as the distribution or movement of cash during the elections. The public should not hesitate to come forward, as the identity of all informers will be kept completely confidential.
