Income Tax gives important Clarification on Audit Report

The Income Tax Department has issued an important Clarification on Audit Report for all Taxpayers.

The Tax Department via his Twitter account notified about this clarification on the Audit Report.

The post reads as follow:

Kind Attention Taxpayers!

Kindly ensure that you have furnished the Audit Report in the correct applicable Form (10B or 10 BB) for AY 2023-24.

CBDT has allowed such trusts/institutions which have incorrectly furnished their Audit Reports in Form No.10B where Form No.10BB was applicable and vice versa, to furnish the Audit Report in the applicable Form No. 10B/ 10BB on or before 31st March 2024.
