Income Tax raids at Premises of Mining Company in Odisha and Kolkata Income Tax officials has conducted simultaneous raids on several locations of a mining company in various areas of Odisha on Tuesday. According to sources, searches are underway at multiple locations affiliated with the SN Mohanty Group in Joda and Barbil, Keonjhar. Raids are also being carried out at the company's headquarters in Bhubaneswar. IT raids are currently taking place at the company's offices in Barbil, MD Prabodh Mohanty's home in New Forest Park Colony, and the corporate headquarters in Forest Park, Bhubaneswar. The raids and scrutiny of various corporate documents involve six teams from the Income Tax Department. The company has an office in Kolkata, and IT searches are also being conducted there. The Officials of IT Department are questioning the mining company's MD and other top officials for possible income tax evasion. More information is awaited.
