Income Tax Recruitment 2023: The Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, UP (West) & Uttarakhand Region, under the Department of Personnel & Training, invites eligible candidates (Sportspersons in different games/sports) for the post of Inspector of Income Tax, Tax Assistant, and Multi-Tasking Staff. According to the Income Tax Recruitment 2023 official notifications, the total number of vacancies is 41. The upper age limit for the given post ranges between 18-30 years. The shortlisted candidates will be recruited based on Pay (Level-1, Level-4, Level-7) of the Pay Matrix mentioned in the below sections.
According to the Income Tax Recruitment 2023 official notifications, the candidates must submit their applications in the format stated in the job notice to the Additional Commissioner of Income Tax (Admn.), 2nd Floor, Aayakar Bhawan, 16/69, Civil Lines, Kanpur – 208 001, either by post or by hand, within one month of the date of publication of the announcement. Sportspersons already employed by the Central Government, State Government, or a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employment.

For Tax Assistant
The candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a Data Entry Speed of 8000 Key Depressions per hour.
For Multi-Tasking Staff
An applicant must have a Matriculation Examination or equivalent certificate from a recognized Board.

Appointment of such candidates shall be made only after the Head of the Department is satisfied with the candidate’s eligibility and his/her suitability for the post in all respects.
