Income Tax NWR Recruitment 2023: The Office of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income-Tax, North-West Region, Chandigarh has sought Applications from the Meritorious Sportspersons Eligible for 03 Posts, 01) IT Inspector, 02) Tax Assistant and 03) Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) under Sports Quota. As per the Income Tax NWR Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 20 Vacancies to be filled up with Appointments on the Posts 01) IT Inspector (03 Vacancies), 02) Tax Assistant (07 Vacancies) and 03) Multi-Tasking Staff (10 Vacancies) in 10 Sports Events notified therein.
According to the Income Tax NWR Recruitment 2023 Advertisement issued, the Last Date for Eligible Candidates with Interest to complete the Application Submission Process shall close on 17th March 2023 (17.03.2023). However, the Last Date is 31st March 2023 (31.03.2023) in respect of the Candidates having Permanent Residences in North-Eastern States, Andaman Nicobar Islands (ANIs), Lakshadweep, Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory/ies.
As per the Income Tax NWR Recruitment 2023 Notification, 20 Vacancies to be filled up are as explained hereunder:

01) Income-Tax Inspector: Pay Level 07 (Rs.44900-142400) in the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC
02) Tax Assistant: Pay Level 04 (Rs.25500-81100) in the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC
03) Multi-Tasking Staff: Pay Level 01 (Rs.18000-56900) in the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC
According to the Income Tax NWR Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Age Limits specific to the Posts as on 17.03.2023 are hereunder:
01) Income-Tax Inspector: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 30 Years
02) Tax Assistant: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 27 Years
03) Multi-Tasking Staff: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 25 Years

According to the Income Tax NWR Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Educational Qualification specific to the Posts as on 17.03.2023 are hereunder:
01) Income-Tax Inspector:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree/Graduation in any discipline from any Duly Recognized University/Equivalent.
02) Tax Assistant:
Educational Qualifications:
i) Bachelor Degree/Graduation in any discipline from any Duly Recognized University/Equivalent WITH
ii) Data Entry Speed of 8000 Key Depressions Per Hour
03) Multi-Tasking Staff:
Educational Qualification: Matriculation /(10th) Passout or Equivalent from any duly recognized Inter-University of Board.
Selection on the Applicants opted Posts shall be according to the Criteria applicable to the Meritorious Sportspersons Eligibility.
