Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023: The Office of Director, Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, has called in Applications from the Government Officers Suitable for Appointment on Director (Official Language/Rajbhasha) in the Central Secretariat Official Language Service Cadre on Deputation Basis. As has been notified vide the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, Director (Official Language/Raj-Bhasha) in the Central Secretariat Official Language Service Cadre on Deputation Basis is encompassed under the Pay Matrix Level 13 (Rs.123100-215900).
Based on the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification released, the Cadre Controlling Authority Concerned under the Government of India may forward the Eligible Officers with Willingness with duly completed Applications (In triplicate) in the Enclosed Proforma, who may be spared immediately on Selection within 60 Days from issuance of the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification (Office Memorandum) in the Employment News.
As has been notified in the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 05 Posts to be filled up on Deputation (Inclusive the Deputation Term):

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Advertisement issued the Revised Pay Scale in the Pay Matrix Level 13 shall be as hereunder:

As per the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Maximum Age Limit applicable to the Applicant Officer shall be as follows:
Director (Rajbhasha): Not to exceed 56 Years on the Closing Date of the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification/Office Memorandum.
Assistant Director (Grade-IV) Post: The Officer should be not exceed 35 Years. However, the Union Public Service Commission will determine the Age Limit.
Relaxation in the Age Limit for Government Service up to 05-Years.
Note*: Detailed Eligibility is explained in this Ministry of Home Affairs issued, which should be perused by the Willing Officer with Eligibility:
Director (Official Language) of the Central Secretariat Official Language Service Cadre, Ministry of Home Affairs:
A) The Officers under the Central Government
I) holding Analogous Posts on Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre of Department; Or
ii) With 05-Years’ Regular Service in the Pay Level 12 in the Pay Matrix rendered Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre or Department; With
B) the Prescribed Educatonal Qualifications for Direct Recruitment to the Assistant Director Post specified in the Schedule V; With
10-Years’ Experience of using or applying Terminology in Hindi and Translation Work preferably of the Scientific Literature from from English to Hindi or vice-versa under the Central Governments or the Union Territories or Autonomous Bodies or Statutory Organisations or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Accredited Research or Educational Institutions.
Assistant Director (Official Language) of the Central Secretariat Official Service Group ‘A’ Post:
Educational Qualifications with Experience:
i) Master’s Degree from any Accredited University in Hindi with English as a Compulsory or an Elective Subject or as the Medium of Examination at the Degree Level; Or
Master’s Degree from any any Accredited University in English with Hindi as a Compulsory or an Elective Subject or as the Medium of Examination at the Degree Level: Or
Master’s Degree from any any Accredited University in any Subject other than Hindi or English, with English Medium and Hindi as a Compulsory Subject or Elective Subject or as the Medium of Examination at the Degree Level; Or
Master’s Degree from any Duly Recognized University in any Subject other than Hindi or English, with English Medium and Hindi as a Compulsory Subject or Elective Subject or as a Medium of Examination at the Degree Level; Or
Master’s Degree from any Duly Recognized University in any Subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as Compulsory or Elective Subjects or either of the Two as a Medium of Examination and the other as a Compulsory or Elective Subject at the Degree Level; And
Post-Qualification Experience:
i) 03 Years’ Experience of using/applying Technology (Terminological Work) in Hindi and Translation Work from English to Hindi or vice-versa, preferably of Technical or Scientific Literature under the Central Government/State Government/Autonomous Bodies/ Statutory Organizations/Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities or Accredited/Recognized Research or Educational Institutions; Or
03 Years’ Experience Teaching in Hindi and English or Research in Hindi or English under the Central Government/State Government/Autonomous Bodies/ Statutory Organizations/Public Sector Undertakings/Universities or Accredited/Recognized Research or Educational Institutions;
Desirable: Should have studied one the Languages other than Hindi at Matriculation Level included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution
Note: The Union Public Service Commission, at its discretion, in respect of the Candidates, otherwise well-qualified may relax Qualifications; and likewise Qualifications in regard to the Experience in the case of the SC/ST Candidates.
Selection on the Director Posts (Rajbhasha/Official Language) shall be carried through by Deputation.
Deputation Tenure: The Deputation Tenure (Including Short-Term Contractual) including the Deputation (ISTC) Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in Similar/some other Organization/Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 05 (Five) Years.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Cadre Controlling Authority/Employer/Head of the Officer/Forwarding Authority should forward duly completed Applications (in the Prescribed Specimen Application Proforma) in Triplicate. annexed with all the Annexures and Certification with the Mandatory Attachments receivable within 60 Days in the Office of the Director to the Government of India.
