Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2025: Notification OUT for 400 Vacancies, Apply Online

Indian Overseas Bank is hiring for the post of Local Bank Officers in JMGS-I to fill up a total of 400 vacancies for its branches across 6 states in India. The interested candidates who are eligible for this role can apply online by May 31, 2025. The eligible candidate should be between the ages of 20 and 30 years and must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

The selected Candidates will be on a probation period for 2 years (active service) from the date of joining the Bank. Their confirmation in the Bank’s service will be as determined by the Bank in terms of the Officers’ Service Regulation (OSR). The application fee is Rs. 175 for SC/ST/PwBD, and for GEN/EWS/OBC, the application fee is Rs. 850. The last day to pay the fees is May 31, 2025.

Indian Overseas Bank is seeking online applications to fill the job role of Local Bank Officer in JMGS-I. There are a total of 400 vacancies available for the assigned position.

Age Limit for Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2025:

To apply for the job, the candidate must be at least 20 years old and not older than 30 years old. The candidate must not have been born after 01.05.2005 and not before 02.05.1995 (both days inclusive).

  • The candidate must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

Candidates must have a valid Mark-sheet or Degree Certificate stating that they are a graduate on the day they have registered, and show the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) will select candidates for Local Bank Officer posts through a four-stage process.

  • Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
  • Personal Interview
  • Final Selection

  • To apply for the position, go to the official website of IOB and click on the “Careers” Page to open the link “Recruitment of Local Bank Officers- 2025-26
  • Choose the post that you want to apply for and then click on the Register Online link.
  • Candidates need to register online by clicking “Click here to Register Online
  • After registering, an email and SMS will be sent to the candidates having the Registration Number and Password for applying Online. You must note the Unique Registration Number and Password for future reference.
  • Upload your photograph and signature and fill all the required details in the online application form carefully and click on the “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” button.
  • After submitting the online application, candidates must print and save a copy of the system-generated form for future use.
  • Candidates are also required to upload their Left Thumb Impression and Handwritten Declaration under the Uploads menu.
  • Candidates must pay the required application fees using Debit Card/Credit Card/ Internet Banking/ BHIM / UPI, etc. After paying the application fees, take a printout of the generated e-receipt for future reference.
